Sixth Empowerment: First, visualize that in your right hand you are holding a red lotus. At the heart of the lotus, there is a sun and moon cushion. On the cushion, there is a clear red Hūṃ (Hūṃ, seed syllable, ह् हूं, hūṃ, destroyer of evil) syllable, marked with a red Nṛ (Nṛ, seed syllable, णृ णृ, nṛ, without) syllable. Visualize the Guru as the Lord of Life, glorious Hevajra. From his heart, light radiates, as brilliant as a rainbow, shaped like an iron hook, and sends forth a host of swift messengers like dust motes in sunlight. They hook back all the life force that you have lost or diminished, and all the essence and purity of the stable and moving aspects of samsara and nirvana, transforming them into immortal nectar. Visualize this nectar seeping into the life-force support at your heart and into the substances for accomplishment in front of you. Recite the verses for summoning life force from the terma text. Hold the life-arrow, visualizing it as the glorious Great One, coming to your crown chakra. Light radiating from his heart gathers the life essence of both samsara and nirvana into the skull-cup in his left hand, increasing and enriching it. This essence enters through your crown chakra, filling your entire body, purifying all illnesses, evil influences, sins, and the fear of untimely death. Visualize that you are attaining the accomplishment of life and wisdom. Recite: Oṃ, the nature of reality, the realm of the youthful vase-body; unchanging awareness, lord of life; glorious Great One, Hevajra; bestow the empowerment of unchanging body. At the end of the life mantra, add: Kāya Āyurjñāna Siddhi Oṃ (Kāya Āyurjñāna Siddhi Oṃ, Body Life Wisdom Accomplishment Oṃ). Place the life-arrow on the crown of your head. May you attain the supreme empowerment of the immortal life of the adornment-wheel of the inexhaustible body, inseparable from the deity. Tasting the life-wine nectar, may your channels and elements be filled with the essence of wisdom, the ten winds dissolve into the central channel, and may you accomplish the indestructible vajra life. Place the nectar from the skull-cup at your throat and offer it. Recite: Ā, the nature of reality, within the skull-cup; awareness, bodhicitta, swirling as nectar; glorious Great One, lotus Hevajra; bestow the empowerment of unimpeded speech. At the end of the life mantra, add: Vāka Āyurjñāna Siddhi Ā (Vāka Āyurjñāna Siddhi Ā, Speech Life Wisdom Accomplishment Ā). May you attain the supreme empowerment of the immortal life of the adornment-wheel of the inexhaustible speech, inseparable from the deity. The life-pill is the wisdom light-drop of the Lord of Life, the glorious Great One, the indestructible essence of the empty life of samsara and nirvana. It enters through your mouth, dissolving into the life-force support at your heart. Light radiates throughout your body, purifying all grasping and clinging, and the thoughts of death and transmigration, manifesting the unchanging vajra wisdom. Visualize the life-pill touching your heart, and offer it to your mouth. Recite: Hūṃ, the indestructible bindu, within the nature of reality; awareness pure, condensed into essence; glorious Great One, vajra Hevajra; bestow the empowerment of unmoving mind. At the end of the life mantra, add: Hūṃ, the nature of reality, within the sphere of the bindu; awareness unchanging, the essence of bliss; glorious Great One, vajra Hevajra; bestow the empowerment of indestructible mind. At the end of the life mantra, add: Citta Āyurjñāna Siddhi Hūṃ (Citta Āyurjñāna Siddhi Hūṃ, Mind Life Wisdom Accomplishment Hūṃ). May you attain the supreme empowerment of the immortal life of the adornment-wheel of the inexhaustible mind, inseparable from the deity. In this way, visualize that both yourself and others have become the nature of the body, speech, and mind of the glorious Great One. Then perform the stabilization. May the nature of the body, speech, and mind of the glorious Great One Hevajra, who is inseparable from myself and the deity in front, remain stable and unchanging. Say these words. Then perform the dissolution and arising. The nature of the body, speech, and mind of the glorious Great One, who is present in the sky in front of you, dissolves into light and gradually dissolves into you from your crown chakra. You yourself also become empty. From emptiness, rays of wisdom light radiate. All the surroundings become the pure land of the glorious Great One. You yourself also become clear as the nature of the body, speech, and mind of the glorious Great One. Say these words.
