Meditate on him with a fiercely contracted brow, extremely terrifying, with a hanging belly, a stout and short body, with legs on a seat of intertwined men and women, the right leg bent and the left leg extended, dwelling in the midst of blazing wisdom fire. Meditate on Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओम्, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om) at his crown, Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Devanagari: आः, Romanized Sanskrit: āḥ, Literal meaning: Ah) at his throat, Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hung) at his heart, and above the heart, a red-black Hrīḥ (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal meaning: Hrih) with bindu and crescent. From that, rays of light emanate, and from the place of intrinsic nature, invite the glorious Hayagrīva (Sanskrit: Hayagrīva) surrounded by an immeasurable assembly of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and offer praise. Jaḥ Hūṃ Baṃ Hoḥ (Tibetan: ཛཿཧཱུྃ་བྃ་ཧོཿ) dissolve into non-duality. Again, rays of light emanate, and invite the five families of empowerment deities with their retinues, and offer them with offerings. 'I beseech all the Tathāgatas to bestow empowerment upon me.' Having prayed thus, the empowerment deities recite: 'As you were born, etc.,' and 'Oṃ Vajrī Bhava Abhiṣiñca Hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal meaning)'. With the water of the vase, empower from the crown of the head, filling the entire body, purifying all defilements. From the remaining water that spills upwards, Amitābha adorns the head. Offer with arghaṃ and so forth. Hūṃ! You who subdue the wicked, the embodiment of the five wisdoms, your body color is dark blue-black, like summer rain clouds. You who subdue the three realms, the neighing of the horse resounds. I prostrate to the body of wisdom's play! Having praised thus, at one's own heart, on top of the sun, at the end of the red Hrīḥ (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal meaning: Hrih), the root mantra circles counterclockwise. From the garland of the root mantra, light rays emanate, and emerge from the mouth, accomplishing activities. Contemplate them gathering back and dissolving into the Hrīḥ (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal meaning: Hrih) at the heart, and recite the mantra. Hrīḥ Padmāntakṛta Vajra Krodha Hayagrīva Sarva Citta Kāla Me Dpūṃs Gtubs. Haha Rbad Rbud Gtubs. Shag Ha Nan Rbad Rbud Gtubs. Gṛhṇa Rāja Ya Rbad. Māraya Rbad. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal meaning) Recite as much as possible. Then, make offerings and praises, and engage in activities. The amount of recitation should be one hundred thousand, four hundred thousand, or eight hundred thousand, and so forth. Then, if one wishes to offer a torma during the session break, decorate the torma with meat, blood, and so forth. Cleanse obstacles with Amrita (Tibetan: ཨ་མྲྀཏ, Devanagari: अमृत, Romanized Sanskrit: amṛta, Literal meaning: Nectar), purify with Svabhāva (Tibetan: སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ, Devanagari: स्वभाव, Romanized Sanskrit: svabhāva, Literal meaning: Nature). By reciting Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: ओम् आः हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ āḥ hūṃ, Literal meaning: Om Ah Hum), contemplate the skull filled with abundant samaya substances, and bless it by reciting the three syllables. Then, invite the guests on top of the mandala or in the space in front: Hūṃ! From the non-dual, self-arisen, pure maṇḍala, although not deviating from the meaning of the inexpressible dharmatā, for the sake of subduing enemies, obstacles, and the wicked, with a compassionate heart, I beseech you to come to this place. Samaya Jaḥ Jaḥ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal meaning).
