English
To the peaceful and wrathful Yidam (Tibetan: ཡི་དམ་ཞི་ཁྲོ་, collective term for all peaceful and wrathful deities), and to the Dakinis and Dharma Protectors who subdue obstacles and demons, you are the sole friend of all sentient beings, supreme protectors, I take refuge in you. Immutable Lord Padmasambhava (Tibetan: འགྱུར་མེད་རྗེ་བཙུན་པདྨ་སཾ་བྷ་བ), along with Yidam Hayagriva and all Dakinis, I offer my body, speech, and mind with reverence. Whether temporary or ultimate, whether good or bad, my hopes, reliance, and expectations are placed in you, please grant me the supreme accomplishment, and bestow upon me empowerment and blessings today. Next is generating the supreme Bodhicitta: Ho! (Tibetan: ཧོ) I and limitless sentient beings, are inherently Buddhas, to realize the nature of being inherently Buddhas, I generate the supreme Bodhicitta. Next is opening the symbolic door and accumulating the two accumulations of merit and wisdom: In the space in front, on a lotus and moon disc, is Hayagriva and his retinue, their bodies blazing with light and splendor, their speech filled with power and ferocity, their minds peaceful and wondrous, appearing but without inherent existence, like the moon in water; clear but without attachment, like reflections in a mirror. In their hearts, there is an eight-petaled lotus, in the center of the lotus is a sun disc, on the sun disc is the seed syllable Hrih (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Shame), surrounded by Katvanga (Sanskrit Devanagari: खट्वाङ्ग, Sanskrit Romanization: khaṭvāṅga, Khatvanga), Lam (Tibetan: ལཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: लां, Sanskrit Romanization: lāṃ, Earth), Mam (Tibetan: མཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: मां, Sanskrit Romanization: māṃ, Water), Pam (Tibetan: པཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: पां, Sanskrit Romanization: pāṃ, Fire), Am (Tibetan: ཨཱཾཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आं, Sanskrit Romanization: āṃ, Wind), Tam (Tibetan: ཏཱཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: तां, Sanskrit Romanization: tāṃ, Space), Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Body Speech Mind). From these seed syllables radiate light, inviting the Gurus, Yidams, Dakinis, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas, gathering like clouds in the space in front. Prah Beshaya Ho! (Sanskrit: pra be sha ya ho, Please enter!) Samaya Dzah Dzah! (Sanskrit: sa ma ya dza dza, Vow, Merge!). Performing the symbolic prostration, transforming one's body into the number of dust particles: Guru Deva Dakini Ati Pu Ho! (Sanskrit: guru dhe ba dha ki ni a ti pu ho, Guru, Deity, Dakini, Supreme Offering!), Pratitsa Ho! (Sanskrit: pra ti tsha ho, Please accept!). Accumulating the two accumulations of merit and wisdom: From one's heart emanate offerings such as Argham (Sanskrit: argham, water for washing feet), reciting: Shabda Pratitsa Ah Hum! (Sanskrit: shabda pra ti tsha ah hum, Sound, Please accept, Ah, Hum!), then clearly visualize with the seven-branch offering. Hrih! (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Shame) Gurus, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, as well as Buddha-sons, Pratyekabuddhas, Dakinis, and the mandala of the ten directions' wrathful deities, please come here and abide, grant your blessings. With bodies transformed into the number of dust particles, I prostrate to you, offering various offerings, filling the boundless space, visualizing each offering as immeasurable. I confess the negative actions committed by body, speech, and mind, as well as all faults and deficiencies, both known and unknown. I request all the holy ones who wish to pass into Nirvana, for the benefit of all sentient beings, please turn the wheel of Dharma and remain in this world. I rejoice and praise the virtues of all the protectors who benefit sentient beings. I dedicate all the accumulations of merit and wisdom accumulated in the past, present, and future, to all mother sentient beings. Regarding the accumulation of wisdom: Without clinging to the object of grasping and the grasper, empty inside and out, abide in emptiness. Om Shunyata Jnana Vajra Svabhava Atmako'ham! (Sanskrit: oṃ śūnyatā jñāna vajra svabhāva ātmako'haṃ, Om, Emptiness, Wisdom, Vajra, Nature, I) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
