Due to the influence of afflictions such as attachment, hatred, and ignorance, I have committed the ten non-virtuous actions, the five heinous crimes, the near-five heinous crimes, violated the vows of individual liberation, the precepts of a Bodhisattva, and the samayas of Secret Mantra. I have disrespected my parents, Khenpo (preceptor), and Acharya (teacher), disrespected my Dharma friends, committed actions harmful to the Three Jewels, abandoned the Holy Dharma, slandered the Sangha, and committed actions harmful to sentient beings, and so on. All the collections of sins and non-virtuous deeds that I have committed, or caused others to commit, or rejoiced in others' committing, in short, all the faults and transgressions that hinder higher realms and liberation, and cause samsara and lower realms, I confess and reveal before the great Lama Vajradhara (Vajra Holder) and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas residing in the ten directions. I will not conceal them, I will not hide them, and henceforth I will strive to restrain myself. After reciting the above three times: May all sentient beings have happiness! May all sentient beings be free from suffering! May I quickly attain unsurpassed Bodhi! Whatever sins I have committed at any time, I confess them like a dream after being frightened, and from now on I will not commit them again. I rejoice in all virtuous deeds, and I pray for the turning of the Dharma wheel. I hold the Buddha's Bodhi in my mind, and I dedicate all merit to supreme Bodhi. To attain that, I will abide on the path, and I take refuge in the Three Jewels. May sentient beings have happiness, and likewise, may they be free from suffering, may the happiness without suffering increase, and may they abide in equanimity. Visualize the field of merit departing to their respective abodes. All phenomena are unattainable, transformed into emptiness. From emptiness, the green and yellow syllable 'paṃ' (藏文：པཾ།，梵文天城体：प，梵文罗马拟音：paṃ，汉语字面意思：榜) arises, transforming into various colored eight-petaled lotuses. In the center of the lotus, from the syllable 'a' (藏文：ཨ།，梵文天城体：अ，梵文罗马拟音：a，汉语字面意思：阿) arises a full moon, and on top of the moon, my own mind transforms into a white syllable 'hrīḥ' (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城体：ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：舍), shining brightly. From the syllable 'hrīḥ' (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城体：ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：舍) light radiates, purifying the obscurations of all beings, and manifesting as the form of the deity.
