The earth is equal to the edge of the sky, and time flows continuously like a wheel. All delightful things appear, filling the entire space realm. Through Oṃ (Oṃ, 唵, seed syllable, perfection), Āḥ (Āḥ, 啊, seed syllable, unborn), and Hūṃ (Hūṃ, 吽, seed syllable, ultimate truth), universally bless, and especially, join the palms together, with the palms hollow, placing them at the heart, this is the mudra of the purity of Dharma-nature. Recite three times: 'Oṃ svabhāva śuddhāḥ sarva dharmāḥ svabhāva śuddho'haṃ (Oṃ svabhāva śuddhāḥ sarva dharmāḥ svabhāva śuddho'haṃ, 嗡,self-nature pure, all dharmas, self-nature pure, I).' All substances transform into emptiness of self-nature purity. Join the palms together, with the palms hollow, fingertips touching, knuckles bent, placing them between the eyebrows, this is the mudra of the treasury of space. Recite: 'Namaḥ sarva tathāgatebhyo viśva mukhebhyaḥ sarvathā khaṃ udgate spharaṇa imaṃ gagana khaṃ svāhā (Namaḥ sarva tathāgatebhyo viśva mukhebhyaḥ sarvathā khaṃ udgate spharaṇa imaṃ gagana khaṃ svāhā).' The five sense pleasures are endless and inexhaustible, filling the sky. Join the palms together, turn them outwards, cross the two thumbs, placing them in front of the mouth, this is the mudra of the nectar crucible. Recite: 'Oṃ vajra amṛta kuṇḍalī hana hana hūṃ phaṭ (Oṃ vajra amṛta kuṇḍalī hana hana hūṃ phaṭ).' All utensils transform into an ocean of nectar. The right hand holds a vajra fist, with the index finger raised. The left hand touches the earth, this is the mudra of vast power. Recite: 'Oṃ namaḥ sarva tathāgata avalokite oṃ sambhara sambhara hūṃ (Oṃ namaḥ sarva tathāgata avalokite oṃ sambhara sambhara hūṃ).' All utensils become in accordance with their respective thoughts. The right hand holds a vajra fist at the heart, the left hand bestows, receiving with a vessel, this is the mudra of the wisdom comet. Recite: 'Oṃ jñāna avalokite namaḥ samanta spharaṇa rasmi bhava samaya mahā maṇi duru duru hṛdaya jvālanī hūṃ (Oṃ jñāna avalokite namaḥ samanta spharaṇa rasmi bhava samaya mahā maṇi duru duru hṛdaya jvālanī hūṃ).' May the guests use the utensils without strife. Cross the fingers of both hands, join the elbows, bring the two thumbs together and raise them, placing them on the crown of the head, this is the mudra of the controlling wheel. Recite: 'Namaḥ samanta buddhānāṃ graheśvari prabhañjyoti nām mahā samaya svāhā (Namaḥ samanta buddhānāṃ graheśvari prabhañjyoti nām mahā samaya svāhā).' Visualize that all guests are under my control, recite the mantra three times, and shake the bell and vajra when releasing the mudra. Homage! By the power of my thought, and the power of the Tathāgata's generosity, and the power of the Dharma realm, in order to offer to the noble ones and benefit sentient beings, may all the things that are thought of in the mind be accomplished as desired, without any hindrance.' This is stating the power of truth. Second is inviting the guests: Homage! I prostrate to the Three Jewels (Triratna). By the truth of the Three Jewels, and the truth of the purity of Dharma-nature, and the truth of the infallibility of cause and effect, and especially, the Lotus Freedom (Padmagarwang) longevity... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
