ti ri hi ti svā hā. Reciting this mantra and scattering it will protect against wild animals such as tigers, bears, and grizzlies. If afraid of poisonous snakes, recite: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ (唵嘛呢叭咪吽, Om Mani Padme Hum, Lotus-Born Prayer), bhi sa ra bhi sa ra phaṭ phaṭ. Apply this mantra to musk and pearls, then tie it around the neck, and the snakes will flee. If afraid of enemies on the road, recite: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ (唵嘛呢叭咪吽, Om Mani Padme Hum, Lotus-Born Prayer), a be, a be, bhan dha dza le, tsag nar be, ga ga na dha, sarba mu, ban dha li svā hā. Recite this mantra twenty-one times on a square piece of wood four fingers wide, then insert it into the right back of the ear and walk. You will be liberated from fear. To protect against being chased by hunting dogs, recite: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ (唵嘛呢叭咪吽, Om Mani Padme Hum, Lotus-Born Prayer), rmi ge rmi ge hūṃ, du rung ma. Apply this mantra to ashes and scatter it on the dogs. This will bind their paws. To bind the mouth of a wolf, recite: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ (唵嘛呢叭咪吽, Om Mani Padme Hum, Lotus-Born Prayer), ya me ya me svā hā. If sheep are threatened by wolves, apply this mantra to ashes and scatter them. To protect sheep and goats, apply this mantra to yogurt and scatter it behind them. This will prevent back injuries and getting lost. If mice are damaging houses or fields, to bind them, recite: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ (唵嘛呢叭咪吽, Om Mani Padme Hum, Lotus-Born Prayer), ru ru tsu ru tsu ru tsu tsu tsu tsu ru svā hā. Perform a fire puja with feces from a mouse hole facing east and white mustard seeds for seven days. Scatter the ashes from burning the white mustard seeds and the mouse feces in the damaged areas. This will bind the mouths of the mice. To bind all bees and insects that eat crops, recite: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ (唵嘛呢叭咪吽, Om Mani Padme Hum, Lotus-Born Prayer), theng theng nad la theng, ga te ta te, te tso la ni svā hā, khong khong nad la khong, chum chum nad la chum, guṃ guṃ shag shag svā hā. Recite this mantra a thousand times on sand and scatter it in the fields, and the mouths of all creatures will be bound. If rust appears in the fields, recite: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ (唵嘛呢叭咪吽, Om Mani Padme Hum, Lotus-Born Prayer), me khu chu sor, chu shel ka li nan, bum bam ri ni sor. Recite this mantra on jade and sand, then scatter it in the fields every morning. Alternatively, recite it on musk deer hair and scatter it. This will eliminate the rust. To protect fields from being eaten by rabbits, recite: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ (唵嘛呢叭咪吽, Om Mani Padme Hum, Lotus-Born Prayer), bong ri shad, tsaṃ tsaṃ shad, rgaṃ rgaṃ shad, ma la sde'u shad. Apply this mantra to white mustard seeds, salt, and alkaline ashes, then scatter them. If you want to prevent hail, recite: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ (唵嘛呢叭咪吽, Om Mani Padme Hum, Lotus-Born Prayer), ga ru ḍa haṃ sa he tsa le tsa le svā hā, yi ge sad, baṃ baṃ sad, raṃ raṃ sad, phur phur sad, pra mun ti sad. Blow air into the sky. Write these letters on a drum or conch shell with a skull cup, then strike or blow it, and the sound will dispel the hail. If you want to stop snow and rain, recite: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ (唵嘛呢叭咪吽, Om Mani Padme Hum, Lotus-Born Prayer), ka lu ka me lu la ku ma lu ste bam, shol bar ram, gru khar, bar ṣa na, tsa lu bi svā hā.
