I rejoice in all those actions, from the supreme rejoicing onwards. Rejoicing that is sacred, principal, special, best, excellent, abundant, supreme, unsurpassed, without a superior, unequaled, unequal, and equal. For the benefit of many beings, for the happiness of many beings, with compassion for the world, for the great multitude, for the sake and benefit of gods and humans, the past Tathagatas, Arhats, Samyaksambuddhas, having manifestly awakened to unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment (Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi), turned the wheel of Dharma, fully demonstrated the wheel of Dharma, fully grasped the essence of the wheel of Dharma, rained down the rain of Dharma, sent forth the rain of Dharma, beat the drum of Dharma, beat the great drum of Dharma, blew the conch of Dharma, raised the banner of Dharma, lit the lamp of Dharma, and satisfied all sentient beings with the gift of Dharma, leading them into peaceful practice. For all these, whether it be the Shravakayana, the Pratyekabuddhayana, or the Bodhisattvayana, or any other sentient beings who have generated roots of virtue, I rejoice. For the sake of benefit and happiness, now in the ten directions of the world, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have attained the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment and are turning the wheel of Dharma. For those who are of the Hearer Vehicle, the Solitary Realizer Vehicle, the Bodhisattva Vehicle, or other sentient beings besides these, who have generated roots of virtue, I rejoice in all of them with the supreme rejoicing, from unequal rejoicing to equal rejoicing. Then comes the request to turn the wheel of Dharma: I request those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who are now in the ten directions of the world, having attained unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, and who wish to turn the wheel of Dharma, for the benefit of many beings, for the happiness of many beings, for compassion towards the world, for the great benefit of the multitude, for the sake of the benefit and happiness of gods and humans, I request them to turn the wheel of Dharma, I request them to teach the Dharma, I request them to uphold the Dharma, I request them to perform the giving of Dharma, I request them to light the lamp of Dharma, I request them to send down the rain of Dharma, I request them to bestow the rain of Dharma, I request them to beat the drum of Dharma, I request them to beat the great drum of Dharma, I request them to blow the conch of Dharma, I request them to raise the banner of Dharma. I request those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who are now in the ten directions of the world, not to abandon their life force, not to pass into Nirvana, but to turn the wheel of Dharma and remain in the world. I request the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, for the benefit of many beings, for the happiness of many beings, for compassion towards the world, for the great benefit of the multitude, for the sake of the benefit and happiness of gods and humans, to turn the wheel of Dharma, to light the lamp of Dharma. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
