Then, rest in equanimity within the four perfections of suchness. By meditating in this way for a long time, various appearances and experiences will arise in an inconceivable manner. Without attachment, pride, or clinging to any of these, recognize them as the natural radiance of awareness and carry them onto the path. This is the first session of practice. After that, visualize yourself as the body of Amitābha (Tshe dpag med), appearing like a reflection in a mirror, without inherent existence. Clear the stale air three times, and then allow the breath to settle naturally. As you inhale, visualize a white Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,Chinese literal meaning: Oṃ) with rays of light entering through the left nostril. While it resides within, visualize a red Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,Chinese literal meaning: Āḥ) radiating light, appearing at the navel center. As you exhale, visualize a blue Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) with rays of light exiting through the right nostril. Without distraction, focus single-pointedly on this, and extraordinary qualities will arise in your being. This is the second session of practice. Furthermore, visualize yourself as Amitābha, and in the center of your body, there is a central channel (Avadhūti, 藏文:རྩ་ཨ་ཝ་དྷཱུ་ཏི་), white on the outside and red on the inside, slender, clear, and without impurities, like a medium-sized arrow shaft. Its upper end reaches the Brahma aperture (Tshangs pa'i sgo), and its lower end is firmly situated eight finger-widths below the navel, perfectly straight. Near the upper end, there is a white Hrīḥ (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,Chinese literal meaning: Hrīḥ) syllable with its head pointing downwards; four finger-widths below the navel, there is a red Hrīḥ syllable; and at the heart center, there is a blue Hrīḥ syllable. Visualize these clearly. Holding the breath, the air enters from the lower end of the central channel and strikes the red Hrīḥ syllable, igniting the fire of inner heat (gtum mo). The Hrīḥ syllable at the heart touches the Hrīḥ syllable at the crown, causing a stream of nectar to flow from it. When it strikes the Hrīḥ syllable at the heart, the light blazes intensely. From there, the stream of nectar descends to the Hrīḥ syllable at the navel, like a continuous waterfall, without interruption. Focus your mind on this, and practice the breath control exercises as much as you can, and also engage in physical exercises. At the end of the session, rest the non-conceptual awareness in a state as vast as the sky. This is the third session of practice. Visualize yourself as Amitābha, and at your heart center, as explained in the second stage, clearly visualize the wisdom being Hrīḥ (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,Chinese literal meaning: Hrīḥ) syllable, and hold your mind there as much as possible. Then, dissolve your seat, backrest, decorations, and all other objects into your body. The deity's body also dissolves into the center, like fog on a mirror, and merges into the wisdom being at your heart center. The ornaments and so forth of the wisdom being dissolve into the body, and the body dissolves into the Hrīḥ syllable (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,Chinese literal meaning: Hrīḥ) at the heart center. That is then separated into the syllable 'ra', then into 'ha', and then dissolves into the gi gu. Finally, it dissolves into the nature of nāda, becoming increasingly subtle, extremely subtle, vanishing from the size of one hundred thousandth of a hair. Without any object of focus, rest your mind in the state of non-elaboration, as much as you can. Again, as before, clearly visualize the deity's body and the wisdom being in three layers. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To train me in meditation, as mentioned before, is to repeatedly train in: merging the manifest luminosity into emptiness, which is the fourth Dharma session. Again, as before, clearly visualize the triple Bodhisattva in the mind. From the Samadhi Bodhisattva Hrīḥ (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:Seed syllable) emanates light, striking the Wisdom Bodhisattva. The light from that extremely radiant body strikes the Samaya Bodhisattva. The extremely bright light pervades the entire world. All containers become pure lands of self-nature pure luminosity. The lifespan and wisdom of all sentient beings become immeasurable. Then, the pure land dissolves into the deity's body, the deity's body dissolves into the Samaya Bodhisattva, which dissolves into the Wisdom Bodhisattva, which dissolves into Nada (நாத,nāda,sound), vanishing into emptiness, abiding in non-objectification and non-proliferation, as in the merging phase. Again, from the luminosity, the deity's body arises and is repeatedly trained to merge again. This is the joyful collection phase, the yoga of following the dissolution of luminosity and emptiness, which is the fifth Dharma session. Therefore, these five Dharma sessions are the oral instructions of the unsurpassed mantra, applying the secret Vajra Yoga to practice, transforming the Dharmakaya into the path, which is the third stage. Each of these three stages contains complete oral instructions, so they can be explained in sections according to individual capacities. Combining all three stages makes the system of oral instructions more complete. At the beginning or end of the first oral instruction stage, one can recite the third volume of the 'Sutra on the Adornment of the Land of Immeasurable Light' and generate joy by explaining its meaning. It describes the ten virtuous deeds for rebirth in Sukhavati, which are: building images and temples of the fully enlightened Buddha, and offering the three objects of veneration: the Buddha's teachings in scriptures and relics, which are the supports of body, speech, and mind. Benefiting all sentient beings, such as building bridges; and benefiting specific beings, such as redeeming lives. These five virtuous deeds can be divided into practicing oneself and encouraging others to practice, thus totaling ten. Furthermore, the eight karmas that prevent separation from the Buddha are: As stated in the 'Question of the Dragon King Sagara': 'O Dragon King, if one possesses eight qualities, Bodhisattvas will not be separated from seeing the Buddha.' What are these eight? They are: Remembering the Buddha, contemplating in the mind; revering and making offerings to the Tathagata; constantly praising the Tathagata; commissioning the making of images of the Tathagata; guiding sentient beings to properly engage in seeing the Tathagata; and in whatever Buddha-field, --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
