The Accomplishment Practice of the Quintessence of Longevity, a Combined Essence, Called 'The Wish-Fulfilling Immortal Jewel'. With the splendor of radiant marks and beauties, You utterly dispel the darkness of the Lord of Death, the sole protector, Inseparable from you, Longevity Empowerment, Vidyadhara Padmasambhava, I pray that you remain eternally firm upon the throne of the sun and moon in the center of my heart! To blend the precise wisdom of the three vajras with one's being and to triumph over the battle with the Lord of Death, one should engage in this practice. It consists of the preliminary, main part, and conclusion. First, the preliminary: In a clean and pleasing place, construct a mandala of colored powders according to the ritual, or in the center of a painted mandala, etc., place a precious vase filled with essence on a stand, containing a conch shell, protective amulets, and a vajra. If it is related to the practice, place a skull cup filled with longevity pills on top of the vase, covered with a red silk cloth and concealed with a mirror inscribed with mantras. At any time, place a longevity stalk to the east of it, longevity pills to the south, a longevity arrow to the west, and longevity alcohol to the north. Furthermore, prepare all the necessary items suitable for offering, such as two kinds of water, the five sensory offerings, and tormas. Second, the main part of the ritual: Refuge: Om Ah Hum, compassionate assembly of immortal deities, all the deities of the complete mandala, until I attain the longevity vidyadhara, I and others respectfully take refuge. Generating Bodhicitta: Hrih, for the sake of myself and others attaining immortality, having accomplished the assembly of longevity deities, through activities that tame beings according to their needs, I generate the mind to benefit beings. Cutting the boundaries: Hrih, from the self-nature of primordial purity, the Dharmakaya, in an instant, awareness arises as HRIH: From that arises the great powerful Heruka, a majestic, blazing, glorious form, with two hands holding a vajra spike and a lasso. At the crown of his head, a horse's neigh resounds in the ten directions. He is the terrifying, the terror-maker, the king of wrathful ones, transformed into a mighty, blazing form.
