Thus, one obtains the empowerment of wisdom and power, purifies the obscurations of the mind, is qualified to practice Dzogchen (Great Perfection), and has the fortune to manifest the inexhaustible wheel of wisdom and adornment. Empowerment is given with a nectar medicine skull cup symbolizing the four liberations. Visualize that you have completely received the empowerment of the ultimate qualities of abandonment and realization. Hand the medicine skull cup to the disciple and have them taste it, reciting: Hūṃ hrīḥ! The deities of the lotus wrathful mandala, possessing inexhaustible treasures of qualities, through tasting, the empowerment of maturation is given, may the empowerment of complete qualities be obtained! Root mantra: Sarva pañca abhiṣiñca hrīḥ! Hand the vajra and bell to the disciple, reciting: Hūṃ hrīḥ! Peaceful, increasing, powerful, and wrathful activities, spontaneously accomplishing the benefit of the teachings and beings, through the empowerment of the symbols of method and wisdom, may activities pervade the ten directions! Visualize that these become the cause for being equal to the inexhaustible wheel of the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of the wisdom deity, and bless them with the blazing emblems as a sign of obtaining the empowerment. Hand the three emblems on the right and left sides to the disciple in order, reciting: Hūṃ hrīḥ! Now, may the disciple's body, speech, and mind, ripen into the body, speech, and mind of the wrathful deity, may the disciple be equal to the deity, may the power be complete, may the empowerment of the complete symbols be accomplished! With the nine-pointed vajra of meteoric iron, may the empowerment of the complete irreversible realization be obtained! With the burning chopper of meteoric iron, may the empowerment of destroying self-grasping and wrong thoughts be obtained! With the burning fire of the eon's end, may the empowerment of burning away the accumulation of ignorance and faults be obtained! May it be completely fulfilled in the lineage of the fortunate ones! With the skull cup filled with red blood, may the empowerment of drinking the heart blood of those who have broken their vows be obtained! With the nine-headed scorpion of meteoric iron, may the empowerment of subduing the obstructing spirits and oath-breakers be obtained! With this burning phurba of meteoric iron, may the empowerment of extracting the accumulation of faults from the root be obtained! May it be completely fulfilled in the lineage of the fortunate ones!
