Thus it is said: Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ! In this maṇḍala (circle, sacred space) of the great guru (spiritual teacher), for the sake of subduing the enemies and obstacles of grasping at reality, By the dance and drumming of the wisdom deities, the city of illusory appearance is destroyed. Oṃ Oṃ Oṃ! Before the Buddha Vajra (diamond, thunderbolt) of ignorance, Surrounded by the retinue of the Buddha family, holding a blazing wheel in hand, Cutting off the root of the five poisons. The hero dances, making the sound 'khrabs se khrabs', the heroine sings, making the sound 'kyu ru ru'. By the dance and drumming of dharmadhātu (the realm of truth) wisdom, the wheel of evil karma (action) and affliction is destroyed. Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ! Before the Vajra of hatred, Surrounded by peaceful gods and goddesses, holding a five-pronged vajra in hand, Completely destroying the skandha (aggregate) of consciousness. The hero dances, the heroine sings, the dance of mirror-like wisdom, evil karma hatred. Svā Svā Svā! Before the Ratna (jewel) Vajra of pride, Surrounded by enriching gods and goddesses, holding a blazing jewel in hand, Completely destroying the skandha of feeling. The hero dances, the heroine sings, the dance of equanimity wisdom, evil karma pride. Āḥ Āḥ Āḥ! Before the Padma (lotus) Vajra of desire, Surrounded by magnetizing gods and goddesses, holding an eight-petaled lotus in hand, Completely destroying the skandha of perception. The hero dances, the heroine sings, the dance of discriminating wisdom, evil karma desire. Hā Hā Hā! Before the Karma (action) Vajra of jealousy, Surrounded by wrathful gods and goddesses, holding a crossed vajra blazing, The skandha of formation... The hero dances, the heroine..., the dance of accomplishing wisdom, evil karma jealousy. Hūṃ! Upon the aggregates of deluded appearance, By the dance and drumming of emptiness without substance, the wheel of self-grasping saṃsāra (cyclic existence) is destroyed. Abiding in the state of pervasive play, The demon who holds one's own mind as an enemy, the demon of evil habitual tendencies, The demon bound by clinging to self, the demons of obstacles with and without form. Having gathered all the demon armies, pressing them under the torma (ritual cake), like the bottom of Mount Meru, Until the end of the kalpa (aeon) and the world, there will never be a time of liberation. Oṃ Laṃ Hūṃ Laṃ Stvaṃbhaya Nan! Enemies and obstacles, the body of Rudra (a wrathful deity), Stvaṃbhaya Nan! Speech, Stvaṃbhaya Nan! Mind, Stvaṃbhaya Nan! Raṃ Yaṃ Khaṃ Laṃ! Stvaṃbhaya Nan Nan! Gathering the eleven and practicing regularly, lifting the torma, gathering the maṇḍala. Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ! From the very nature of emptiness wisdom, the unobstructed maṇḍala of awareness arises. All is of the nature of illusion, naturally dissolving into the dharmadhātu. Gurus, yidams (personal deities), and ḍākinīs (female wisdom deities), all without exception dissolve into oneself. One's own body becomes Hūṃ, gathering into a bindu (drop), the bindu dissolves into the unborn state. The outer world and inner beings, clear as the palace and deities, sound resounding, the nature of mantra (sacred utterance), thoughts and conceptions, aim... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
