Then, focus on the (channels). Look upwards, press the tongue against the palate, and perform about five long Hūṃ exhalations, visualizing the white and red essences gradually rising from the generative chakra to the crown chakra like shooting stars, accompanied by long Hūṃ exhalations, lifting them upwards from the left, right, and central channels. Again, as before, the four joys of the lower stability, namely the joy of the generative chakra and so on, are nailed upwards with the nail of bliss and emptiness in a reversed manner. Then, visualize the white and red essences gathering at the Haṃ (Sanskrit seed syllable) at the crown of the head, relax the body, stand up, sit in a hunched posture, place the hands on the knees, and vigorously shake about seven times while uttering 'Ha'. Again, visualize the white and red essences raining down on all parts of the body and chakra points, filling the body with radiance and light. With the seven qualities, allow the breath to flow naturally in meditative equipoise, maintaining the posture and practicing according to the length of time one can endure. Then, perform the preliminary Tsa-lung exercises of the profound path, and the twenty-one secret instructions of the five families of Tsa-lung, etc. Then, If bliss is not generated even by minor bliss, then here is how to extract bliss: Clearly visualize oneself as Mahācakra (Mahācakra: Hevajra), remembering the ornaments and attire of the body, etc., as in the commentary 'Lamp Dispelling Darkness', and visualize the three channels and five chakras. The four chakras are as before, and in the secret place, the ends of the twenty-eight channel petals are inserted into the vajra at the lower end of the central channel. In the navel chakra, visualize the Hūṃ (Sanskrit seed syllable, meaning to destroy) syllable pointing downwards. Then, visualize in front of oneself a Ḍākinī with the characteristics of a woman, appearing in a form that can arouse attachment, and imagine her making affectionate words and kissing, etc., making gestures of attachment. Practice this until great bliss arises. When great bliss increases, visualize that Ḍākinī instantly transforms into the form of Vajrayoginī, and visualize oneself as Mahācakra in union with her. Finally, visualize Vajrayoginī dissolving into light and merging into the A (Sanskrit seed syllable, meaning unborn) at one's navel chakra, and then that A merging into the Haṃ (Sanskrit seed syllable) at the crown of the head in the form of heat. Slightly suppress the upper wind and frequently perform the opening and closing of the vulva. According to the size of the bliss, adjust the five chakras; if the bliss is great, reverse upwards from the upper chakras, and if it is small, descend to the generative chakra, etc., adjusting according to one's own capacity. If bliss increases, perform the twenty-one drawing and spreading Tsa-lung exercises, as well as the burning and dripping postures, and the Ha shaking and lying-on-the-back shaking, etc. If even that does not generate (great bliss) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, visualize yourself as Padmasambhava (Padma-byung, name of Guru Rinpoche), naked, with hair tied in a topknot, adorned with bone ornaments, and visualize the chakras and the 'Hūṃ' (hūṃ) at the secret place as before. Visualize the form of the consort Yeshe Tsogyal (mTsho-rgyal, consort of Guru Rinpoche), like a sixteen-year-old maiden, embracing you. The posture of the body is: place a small cushion under the perineum, bring the two ankles together, and insert the vajra between them. Visualize the red lotus of the consort, with eight petals, the stamen marked with 'A' (a). Move the body slightly and combine it with the above visualization. First, bring the bindu down from the crown of the head to the throat. Then, raise it up again. Similarly, gradually experience bliss, raising it up at each chakra. At this time, visualize the hook below the 'Hūṃ' drawing up the red essence of the consort and your own white essence, and dissolving it into the 'Haṃ' (haṃ) at the crown of the head. After that, the bindu should not descend past the navel chakra. Then, perform the turning, scattering, and other illusion wheel practices as before. Therefore, one must cherish the bindu of the profound path as much as one's own life. Each time you release the bindu, think 'Nara Kana' (na ra ka na). Perform the illusion wheel, shoulder shrugs, etc., as before, as well as the twenty-first practice, etc. If the bliss is too intense and you feel that the bindu is about to be lost, then the key to the body is: place the two hands in vajra fists on the chest, sit in the lotus posture. Visualize as before, and guide the awareness to the crown of the head with about thirty long 'Hūṃ' (hūṃ) and short 'Hūṃ' (hūṃ), and finally rest in a state of non-objectification. If the body is weak and the bliss has not increased, then rely on nutritious food, pray to the lama, and repeatedly receive the four empowerments. Also, strive in tsog offerings and confessions, especially the 'Dakini Confession' (mkha' 'gro'i bshags 'bum) and the offerings to the Dharma protectors. Other obstacle-clearing practices should also be performed according to the texts, such as the 'Obstacle-Clearing Vajrakilaya' (gegs sel bka' rgya ma) and the 'Garland of Essential Instructions' (zhal gdams gnad kyi phreng ba), etc. Therefore, this brief supplementary explanation related to the tummo (gtum mo) practice of the five families of the Lotus Skull Garland Power (padma thod phreng rtsal) from the Heart Essence Gathering (yang snying 'dus pa) is: when we practice the Three Kayas (sku gsum) of the Guru, the great tertön Ratna Lingpa (ratna gling pa) and many dakinis repeatedly manifested such experiences, that these instructions on the channels, bindus, and winds, as well as the illusion wheels in the secret instructions that were previously missing, were bestowed upon me. After that, in the presence of Orgyen Second Buddha (o rgyan sangs rgyas gnyis pa)—the non-different emanation great tertön Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa (mchog gyur bde chen gling pa), I narrated the history of the above pure visions. The venerable one also had the same thought arise, and my thought was in accordance with his. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
