'i khyab (一切遍行)。 goms pa mtha' ru phyin pa 'o (修习至究竟)。'

'i khyab (all-pervading). goms pa mtha' ru phyin pa 'o (practice to the end).' This means, do not cling to the experience of emptiness arising from the methods representing the path of means and subsequent observation, etc. Abandon all clinging to emptiness, non-emptiness, and the union of the two in Madhyamaka. Take the fourth empowerment, in which the co-emergent wisdom of ultimate reality, which is equal to space and free from the dust of defilements, is manifested, as the path. The practice of the inconceivable stages has reached its culmination. The fourth is the resultant Mahamudra: 'When meditating in this way, if the experience of emptiness is strong, then from the nada, like waves arising from water, the deity's form arises. If clinging to external objects is strong, and the thoughts of grasping and being grasped arise, then practice emptiness and abide in non-objectification. The wisdom of union, which transcends the extremes of appearance and emptiness, will be manifestly attained.' This means that during the practice of the inconceivable stages, in the preliminary, main, and subsequent phases, if the experience of emptiness is very strong, then from the subtle nada, in an instant, like waves arising from water, the deity's form of the union of appearance and emptiness arises, and one abides in it. If clinging to external objects is very strong, so that thoughts of grasping and being grasped arise continuously, then one should practice emptiness through the yoga of subsequent observation and abide in non-objectification. By combining these with experience and practicing them alternately, the wisdom of union that transcends the extremes of appearance and emptiness will be manifestly attained. If these five stages are practiced one after the other, then it is sufficient to perform the preliminary practice only at the beginning. If one practices by extracting one or two stages separately, then one should know that the preliminary practices mentioned earlier must be applied at the beginning of each session. The Subsequent Stages. Third is the subsequent stage, which is divided into two: the subsequent stage of the session and the subsequent stage of the instruction. First, at the end of a session, seal it with the uncommon aspiration and dedication of the Mahayana, and recite auspicious words. During breaks between sessions, engage in the path application appropriate to the situation, as is common. Second, the subsequent stage of the instruction is divided into four: for those of superior faculties, attainment in this life; for those of intermediate faculties, attainment at the time of death; for those of inferior faculties, manifesting the fruit of the path through rebirth in the bardo; and concluding by stating the greatness of the instructions. First, 'These five stages, those of superior faculties can accomplish with one, those of intermediate faculties manifest in the manner of sudden breakthrough, those of inferior faculties progress gradually, first stabilizing the previous experience, then entering the next stage, abandoning distraction, and ultimately attaining union in one lifetime.' This means that such profound stages, those of superior faculties can accomplish with just one practice. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For practitioners with superior faculties, it is not necessary to practice all five stages in a sequential manner. Merely through one of them, such as the Vajra Rosary or the Inconceivable Stages, one can attain the supreme siddhi (accomplishment). For practitioners with intermediate faculties, practicing two or three stages, without being bound by a fixed order, can lead to the arising of wisdom through a leapfrogging approach. As for practitioners with inferior faculties, they must first stabilize their experience of the preceding stages before entering the subsequent ones. In any case, by abandoning mental distractions and diligently striving with unwavering effort, pushing the practice to its limit, one will manifest the wisdom body of coemergent Mahamudra in a single lifetime and body. Secondly, if one does not achieve it in this life: 'If one does not achieve it in this life, at the time of death, stabilize the samadhi (meditative absorption) one is accustomed to, abide in a state of non-discrimination, and the clear light Dharmakaya (body of truth) will merge into one, and the subsequent coemergence will arise spontaneously.' This means that if one fails to attain the supreme fruition in this life due to weak faculties and diligence, then at the time of death, one should stabilize and clarify the samadhi that one is most familiar with, and finally abide in a state of non-discrimination. Thus, the clear light of the path, like a child, and the clear light of the base, like a mother, will merge inseparably, and one will awaken into the realm of the primordially pure clear light Dharmakaya. And in that subsequent attainment, the non-learning coemergence, the Mahamudra of the deity body, will arise spontaneously. Thirdly, even if one does not gain stability there: 'If one still does not gain stability, in the bardo (intermediate state), remember the guru (spiritual teacher), the deity, and the instructions, connect them with stable, profound samadhi, the wind-mind will arise as the deity's body, and one will achieve Vidyadhara (knowledge holder) such as the Khechara (sky-goers). Or, holding the Vajra (indestructible) body, one will manifest the remaining path.' This means that if one's faculties and diligence are extremely weak, and one fails to gain stability even at the time of death, then in the bardo state, when one recognizes that one is dying, one should connect that recognition with the remembrance of the guru, deity, and instructions from before. If one practices the profound samadhi that one is familiar with in the bardo state, because the awareness at that time is seven times clearer than now, one can stabilize the previous practice in a short time, so that the wind-mind will spontaneously arise as the deity's body, and one will achieve Vidyadhara such as the great Khechara. Alternatively, one can obtain the immortal Vajra body and manifest the path that was previously not traversed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
