Hūṃ ablaze! Burn away the habitual tendencies of wrong thoughts of self and others! Awareness is full of power, proclaiming the sound of Hūṃ! Surrounded by hundreds of thousands of Ḍākinīs! All of them proclaim the sound of Hūṃ! Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ! In an instant, generate the power of awareness, speak! All the realms of the world are shaking! Visualize the three thousand worlds filled with the sound of Hūṃ! Visualize appearance and existence being brought under control! Visualize saṃsāra being uprooted from its depths! With such visualization, recite the mantra of Hūṃ, reciting a hundred times, a thousand times, or as much as possible, and continuously focusing on the state of non-fabrication. It is said that practicing the Hūṃ practice in this way, one can grasp the essence of practice. This was heard from the Guru and explained in various ways. Third, regarding the secret gathering of mind's samādhi, there are two paths: the path of desire and the path of means. First is the path of desire: Maintain the posture of the body, perform three expulsions of breath. Visualize oneself as Padmasambhava (Lotus Born), the secret gathering Vajrasattva, and the consort as Vajravarahi, Kharchenza, equally united. Visualize white light radiating from the hearts of all the father deities in the four places, and red light radiating from the hearts of all the mother deities, striking the outer vessel world, visualizing it as a burning charnel ground. Visualize the inner sentient beings, all males struck by white light, transforming into a gathering of heroes; red light striking all females, transforming into a gathering of heroines. All of these transform into the parents of Padmasambhava. Visualize the blessings of the body, speech, and mind of all the Sugatas being gathered by light and dissolving into oneself as the father and mother, thereby increasing radiance and splendor. Then, visualize light radiating from the seed syllables in the hearts of all the deities in the four places of oneself, transforming into white bodhicitta. Descending from one's root channel, from the secret place entering into the secret place of the consort. Striking the deities in the four places of the consort, causing them to be delighted, pleased, and satisfied. Visualize the seed syllables in the hearts of the main consort and retinue, descending with red bodhicitta and breath, filling all the channels with white and red bodhicitta. Visualize that the consort's body cannot contain it, coming out from the consort's left nostril, and entering into the father's right nostril, causing all the deities in the four places of oneself to be pleased. Visualize white bodhicitta and breath descending, filling all the channels, body, and mind, increasing the bliss free from leakage. Again descending from the root channel, radiating towards the consort from the secret place. Like this, visualize the radiation and absorption of light and bindus, and the hundred and more breaths. At the time when the bindu radiates and generates bliss, let the mind be in a state of non-fabrication. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Focus on emptiness. The method is similar to the previous one, except that the positions of the father and mother deities are reversed. Visualize your consort as Tso-gyal (མཚོ་རྒྱལ།, Lake Queen), united with Orgyen (ཨོ་རྒྱན།, Orgyen, the pure land of Padmasambhava). Visualize all the light and bindus (ཐིག་ལེ།, bindu, essence) of the father deity being absorbed into your consort, rotating in reverse like a doli (དོ་ལི།, doli, a type of container). The oral instructions say that the generation stage should be emphasized, so at the end of each session, visualize the generation stage five or six times, or visualize the generation stage in the earlier sessions and only visualize the means path during the evening session. Fourth, the secret union of channels and winds: From the heart of the deities in the four places of the father deity, white light radiates with wind, striking all male beings of the six realms, transforming them into heroes. Visualize all their splendor and radiance being absorbed from the right nostril, then inhale through the right nostril and hold your breath as much as possible. Visualize that all males have been brought under your control. Similarly, from the deities in the four places of the mother deity, red light radiates, striking the assembly of female beings who have become heroines. Gather all their splendor and radiance, and absorb them from the left nostril, visualizing that all females have been brought under your control. Inhale from the left side and hold your breath as much as possible. Furthermore, from all the deities in the four places of both the father and mother deities, various colors of light radiate, collecting the splendor and radiance of men and women, the essence of all food and wealth from below, above, and on the earth, the splendor and radiance of all heroes and heroines, the accomplishments and blessings of all the departed, and all the thoughts of the Buddhas, then enter through both the right and left nostrils and dissolve into the heart, visualizing that samsara and nirvana have been brought under your control, and that unpolluted bliss increases. Then inhale from both nostrils and hold your breath as much as possible. In this way, combine each inhalation with the emanation and absorption of light, doing it one hundred times, twenty-one times, seven times, or whatever is appropriate. Fifth, the secret union of the completion stage: According to the methods of the two Ye-gya (ཡེ་རྒྱ།, Ye-gya) systems mentioned above, the father deity and his retinue should be absorbed into what is visualized as one's consort. However, here, since the generation stage is mainly practiced, the external beings of the six realms are transformed into heroes and heroines and absorbed into the consort Tso-gyal. All the departed and the Kagyu (བཀའ་བརྒྱུད།, Kagyu, lineage) lamas residing above are absorbed into what is visualized as one's father deity Orgyen. The mother deity and her retinue are absorbed into one's own father deity and his retinue. All the deities of one's navel, heart, and throat, as well as the root guru, visualized as Vajrasattva (རྡོ་རྗེ་སེམས་དཔའ།, Vajrasattva), are also absorbed into the emptiness at the crown of the head. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
