The ultimate culmination of all instructions, the essence of the Guru practice, profound instructions like the lifeblood, the four general principles of the actual practice sequence, measured by the number of Dharma sessions, totaling forty-four, taught in conjunction with the four ascertainments of the path of accumulation. Aty! Second, the special oral instructions, some of which have been mentioned in the previous sections, now briefly summarize the extremely secret and vast meaning: the instructions on the mandala generation stage related to the vase empowerment, including the oral instructions on mantras, blending the generation and completion stages. The Vajra recitation and Tummo sequence related to the secret empowerment. The instructions on the path of means, the messengers, related to the wisdom empowerment. The contents related to the word empowerment will be explained later, this is just a chapter outline, the number of Dharma sessions is known from the oral instructions. Gambhira Upadesha Guhya Aty! The fourth general principle, transforming illusory appearances into wisdom, the Guru is the only practice. In the heart, the Guru is visualized as the Hum syllable (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum), performing absorption or sequential absorption, finally dissolving the bindu into emptiness Nada. 1. Completely purify the five aggregates and eighteen elements. 2. Abide in the state of non-duality between body, speech, and mind and the Guru's body, speech, and mind. 3. These are the three key points indicated by the root channels. Related to this is the instruction on awakening emptiness as a deity. 1. In addition, as limbs, including eating. 2. Wearing. 3. Walking. 4. Sitting. 5. Sleeping. 6. Changing the object of focus. 7. These are also elaborated upon here, which is crucial. Thus, starting from refuge and bodhicitta, to these fundamental key points, there are three types of guidance: superior, intermediate, and inferior. Among them, the superior one can obtain signs of realization, experience, and dreams. The intermediate one should practice diligently for seven, five, or three days. The inferior one should also practice each day, ensuring that the key points are not confused and are firmly remembered, and sloppy practice is absolutely not allowed. It is essential to practice diligently until the mind is as firm as a rock. This is crucial. Furthermore, in all the practice sequences of preliminary, main, and concluding practices, first generate bodhicitta for the benefit of sentient beings. In the middle, focus single-mindedly on virtuous actions. Finally, do not cling to virtue, do not expect results, and dedicate it to great bodhi, which is crucial and should be done constantly. Thus, the practice of the Guru as the only one, merging the Guru's body, speech, and mind Vajra three with one's own three doors without duality, is the sequence for obtaining the qualities of the path of seeing. Aty! Here, the special instruction is to merge the Guru with one's own mind, the key to Ati Yoga Trekchö and Tögal, allowing the originally non-abiding initial mind to abide. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

阿提(ཨྠྀ,अ,a,无)。 阿提(ཨྠྀ,अ,a,无)。

First, among the three aspects of abiding steadfastly and liberating steadfastness, the first concerns subtle objects: 1. Deity images (Lha sku, deva); 2. Letters (Yig 'bru, akṣara); 3. Symbolic implements (Phyag mtshan, āyudha); 4. Bindus (Thig le, bindu); 5. Wind (Rlung, vāyu); 6. Training in the burning and dripping of bindus; 7. And so on. Following the instructions of the lama, one identifies and ascertains the nature of abiding movement, thereby establishing calm abiding (zhi gnas). Second, one forcefully investigates the three sources of arising, abiding, and ceasing, thereby establishing the essence of mind, introducing it, and cultivating the experience of the union of calm abiding and insight (zhi lhag zung 'jug). Third, one's clinging to experience dissolves, and one directly sees the realization of uncontrived, unborn, free from elaboration, and superior insight (lhag mthong), generating power, and ultimately manifesting luminosity, maintaining the environment of mother and child without mixing them. These are also taught as practical instructions by realized lamas, without deviating from the meaning of the Buddha's teachings, rather than presuming one's own realization to be the Dharma, teaching fabricated Dharma that contradicts the Buddha's teachings, or explaining with metaphors without having realized oneself, mixing in reasoning and speculation. These are absolutely unacceptable. The teachings of those who have attained the union of the Buddha's words should be cherished and taught without error. Therefore, the teacher who gives instructions should be highly realized, moderately experienced, or at least capable of teaching the lama's words without error and understanding the meaning of the texts. Therefore, if one presumes one's own experience to be realization and teaches beyond the Buddha's teachings, it will be the cause of Vajra Hell, so be careful. Therefore, even if one has not attained stable experience and realization, it is extremely important to have an understanding of the meaning of the instructions without error. Compared to a foolish person explaining the Dharma with meager experience, a wise person with correct understanding will greatly benefit the teachings. In general, this entirely depends on the student's devotion. The lama from whom one has received the teachings should never be regarded with any disrespect, but should be seen as Vajrasattva (Dorje Sempa, vajrasattva), and in general, it is extremely important to distinguish between experience and realization and not be misled by similarities. A ti (ཨྠྀ, a). The unsurpassed key to blending the lama with one's own mind, practicing the meaning of union through Trekchö (Khregs chod, ati yoga) and Tögal (Thod rgal, utkṛṣṭa yoga), should be received from a qualified lama. A ti (ཨྠྀ, a). Thus, in the preliminary, main, and concluding stages of Guru Yoga, the first of the four dharmas is the fourfold focus, the second is twentyfold, the third is forty-fourfold, and the fourth is the three roots and seven branches, totaling seventy-eightfold focus. Then, subtle objects are made the root of the practice, then twenty-five for the body, five for the letters, and one for the symbolic implements. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
