Then, ensuring the accomplishment of the best, intermediate, and worst siddhis, the seventh is the Flower Garland Empowerment: 'Hūṃ! Through the great power of the samaya vow, the connection of karmic actions from previous lives, and the power and strength of non-duality, please bestow equal blessings!' Recite 'Hūṃ Vajra Sattva Āveśaya Ā Ā,' and tie the flower garland on the head. The eighth is the Opening of the Eyes: 'Hūṃ! Just as the king of ophthalmologists dispels the blindness of ignorance, Vajrasattva deities, open the eyes of your fortunate child!' Recite 'Vajra Cakṣuḥ Praveśaya Phaṭ,' open the eyes and remove the face covering. The ninth is Showing the Vision: 'Look at this beautiful mandala! Now generate great faith! You are born into the Buddha's lineage, blessed by mantras and mudras, all siddhis are perfectly complete, you will become the supreme samaya!' Thus showing it. Contemplate the vast mandala of the Peaceful and Wrathful Deities, including the main deity and retinue, appearing as if directly in front. Second, the actual empowerment, divided into the preliminary act of purifying sins and obscurations, and the actual empowerment of increasing qualities. First is the first part, with seven steps. First step: Place the disciple on the bathing mat, contemplate the assembly of wrathful deities emanating from the heart, and recite the mantra 'Hūṃ Hūṃ Hūṃ Viśva Vajra,' thinking that the obstacles are dispelled, and perform actions such as striking with mustard seeds. Second step: Contemplate all the sins and obscurations accumulated by the disciple from beginningless lifetimes, existing in the form of Duḥ, Triḥ, and Preḥ at the secret place, navel, and heart respectively, and above each, visualize the wisdom fire as the three syllables Raṃ, Yaṃ, and Khaṃ. Contemplate the light emanating from the guru's heart, stimulating these three seed syllables, the wisdom fire transforming into wind and water, burning, destroying, and purifying the seeds of the three lower realms. Purify by reciting 'Raṃ Sphāraṇa Phaṭ, Yaṃ Sphāraṇa Phaṭ, Khaṃ Sphāraṇa Phaṭ.' Third step: On the five fingers of the guru's right hand, visualize a sun disc on each fingertip, marked with Hūṃ, Oṃ, Svāhā, Āḥ, and Hā respectively. On the five fingers of the left hand, visualize a moon disc on each fingertip, marked with Mūṃ, Lāṃ, Māṃ, Pāṃ, and Tāṃ respectively. Contemplate these transforming into the five Buddha families, fathers and mothers. Recite 'Oṃ Surata Stvaṃ,' joining the palms together. Interlock the fingers in the vajra añjali mudra, and recite 'Vajra Bandha Baṃ,' contemplating the union of the five Buddha families, fathers and mothers. Then declare the power of truth: Homage to the Three Jewels! With the truth of your utterly pure nature, and the truth of phenomena, the infallible cause and effect, and the truth of the peaceful and wrathful, illusion-like playing deities, and the truth of the emanations and their accompanying implements and retinues, by the blessing of the great truth, purify all the sins and obscurations accumulated by this child through the three poisons of affliction, 'Nara Ga Preta Kata Tirya Ka Shuddha Chakshu Pra Beshaya Phat!' Reciting and clapping hands. Visualize that light radiates from the heart of the guru and the junction of the five families, purifying the seeds and habitual tendencies of falling into the three lower realms. Regretting past actions, and with the mind of confession and vows, 'Beseech! Vajradhara! Protector of beings, protect me with compassion! Supreme King, please proclaim!' 'Hereafter, I will not conceal, I will not hide!' Thus beseech. Fifth step: 'Child, come here, son of the lineage! By your own faults and similar faults, in order to save you from falling into the lower realms, I will bestow the supreme empowerment!' Lead to the empowerment platform.
