When the path of learning is completed, the appearance of essence Kadag (Tibetan: ཀ་དག་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Chinese literal meaning: Primordial Purity) will be close to being seen. The way of exhaustion is: all appearances of body and field, in the unchanging self-illumination, without interruption, in meaning without increase or decrease, at that time, radiance self-dissolves into the Dharmadhatu (Tibetan: དབྱིངས་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Chinese literal meaning: Emptiness), when empty and non-empty, this and not this, etc., all sectarian attachments established by names, and the appearance of radiance outwardly, all exhaust in the way of dissolving inwardly into the inner Dharmadhatu, all growth of external experience ceases, the inner illusory body exhausts, transforming into a light body. At that time, in the light, only something the size of a finger joint can be seen, and nothing else appears coarse. The breath of speech exhausts, all sounds dissolve into the indestructible self-sound. The secret moving breath exhausts, all the afflictions of deluded thoughts self-purify, liberating into the field of the Youthful Vase Body (Tibetan: བུམ་པ་སྐུ, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Chinese literal meaning: Vase Body), in the initial base Dharmadhatu (Tibetan: གཞི་དབྱིངས་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Chinese literal meaning: Base Dharmadhatu) like Lada month (Tibetan: ལ་ཟླ་བ, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Chinese literal meaning: la zla ba). In this state, if one benefits beings by that support, then the Great Transference Body (Tibetan: འཕོ་བ་ཆེན་པོ, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Chinese literal meaning: Great Transference) will appear like the moon in water, and benefit beings by mastering both birth and death. Thus, in the Transcendent View it says: 'By the appearance of the exhaustion of Dharmata, cut the continuation of the three realms of Samsara.' It also says: 'The appearance of the exhaustion of Dharmata, is when the appearance of experience is emptied, the body exhausts, the objects of the senses also exhaust, liberated from the delusion of thoughts, separated from the object of expression.' It also says: 'Thus the arising of the body ceases, the contaminated aggregates no longer appear, in this life one attains enlightenment.' This is the appearance of the exhaustion of Dharmata, if one enters this path, cultivating with great diligence, then in no more than three years and seven months, external appearances, inner illusory body, secret afflicted thoughts, all purify in the nature of awareness, and manifest the Rainbow Body (Tibetan: འཇའ་ལུས, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Chinese literal meaning: Rainbow Body) unchanging Vajra Body. Second, to familiarize oneself with the instructions of the four limits, there are four points: establishing the foundation on the three immovables, measuring with the three abidings, nailing down with the three attainments, showing the degree of liberation with the four convictions. The first point is: 'Establishing the foundation on the three immovables', that is, the three postures of the body not moving, the three ways of seeing of the eyes not moving, the breath and awareness not moving, wide and without contamination, not departing from the appearance of the Dharmadhatu. These three are generally inseparable from practice, and especially important at the time of the manifestation of Dharmata. The second point is: 'Measuring with the three abidings', after cultivating in this way, external appearances abide, adverse conditions arise as friends. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
