Great Treasure of the Supreme Dharma TD21 The Concluding Stage of the Profound Instructions on the Four Visions, a Special Practice of Vajrasattva's Mind-Seal: The Wheel of Manifest Luminous Clarity. Mindroling Vajrasattva. Concluding Stage. The Concluding Stage of the Profound Instructions on the Four Visions, a Special Practice of Vajrasattva's Mind-Seal: The Wheel of Manifest Luminous Clarity. Mindroling Vajrasattva. Concluding Stage. The Concluding Stage of the Profound Instructions on the Four Visions, a Special Practice of Vajrasattva's Mind-Seal: The Wheel of Manifest Luminous Clarity. oṃ siddhi rastu. May there be accomplishment!) From the beginning, the unchanging, luminous expanse, The spontaneously accomplished, radiant Vajrasattva, Whose compassionate appearance manifests, I bow to the glorious protector, the Lama. From the practice of Vajrasattva's Mind-Seal, The special concluding stage of the Four Visions, The key points of the instructions that clarify, The Wheel of Manifest Luminous Clarity, I will explain. Here, as it is said: 'When the common concluding stage above, Has become firmly established through practice, Then the secret, essential instructions are shown.' As it is said, like the common concluding stage, the state of the view of primordial purity is introduced, And after the practice of bliss, clarity, and non-conceptual wisdom has become firmly established, This profound path of breakthrough, which directly reveals the spontaneously accomplished wisdom of the special concluding stage, should be entered. This has three parts: preliminary, main part, and conclusion. The first is: From the 'Clear Expanse': 'In order to bring the manifest into the essential point, The outer, inner, and secret activities, Of body, speech, and mind, should be released.' Thus, the activities of the three doors should be released. The activities of the body: outer, the activities of worldly delusion; inner, inferior virtues such as prostrations and circumambulations; secret, Even the slightest movement should be abandoned, remaining unmoving in the posture of meditation. The activities of speech: outer, the idle talk of the world; inner, recitations and repetitions; secret, Even the slightest movement of air should be abandoned, remaining silent. The activities of the mind: outer, the deluded thoughts of the world; inner, the conceptual thoughts of study and contemplation, and various objects of mental fixation; secret, All the scattering of conceptual thoughts should be abandoned, remaining in a state of non-conceptuality. The second, the main part, is: 'Body, speech, mind, doors, objects, and winds, six essentials.' As it is said, if these are categorized, there are two: holding the essentials of the three doors, and based on the three essentials, directly introducing the manifest self-nature. The first has three parts. The essential of the body is: 'Through the distinction of knowing the place and element, The posture of a lion, elephant, or sage.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The difference lies in: low ground having a small field of vision, slightly higher ground having a medium field of vision, and high ground having a large field of vision, these three situations. The difference in elements lies in: the body having a strong sense of heat, heat and cold being balanced, and a strong sense of cold, these three situations. The difference in consciousness lies in: dullness, alternating between dullness and agitation, and a strong sense of agitation, these three situations. For these, it is essential to adapt the three postures of the Dharmakaya (chos sku), Sambhogakaya (longs sku), and Nirmanakaya (sprul sku) according to their respective ways of seeing. Among them, the Dharmakaya posture is like a lion, sitting with the body upright, the soles of the feet touching and placed on the ground; the knees turned outwards; the fingers curled and placed on the ground, with the forearms straight; the upper body held like a lion, with strength focused on the neck. This blocks karmic winds, increases wisdom winds, and allows the appearance of the nature of reality to arise naturally. The Sambhogakaya posture is like an elephant, with the face down, knees and chest touching; the toes pushed outwards; the elbows planted on the ground, with the palms supporting the chin and the fingers touching the cheeks; the neck slightly raised. This subdues wandering thoughts and allows one to abide in the realization of the non-duality of space and awareness. The Nirmanakaya posture is like a hermit sitting cross-legged, with the soles of the feet placed on the ground and the legs aligned. The spine is straight and the neck is held upright. The hands are crossed and placed on the kidneys or knees. This balances the elements and allows one to abide in a state where space and awareness are inseparable. The key to speech is: 'Speech is the tool to cut off deluded talk.' Therefore, learn to speak less each day, avoid engaging in deluded conversations with others, and only utter recitations of texts and mantras. Eventually, even that should be stopped, and one should practice not speaking at all. The key to mind is: 'Mind is the tool to separate thoughts of the three times, abide in a state that is uncorrected and free from grasping.' Therefore, focus the senses on the center of the empty space of the outer realm, like a spear pointed straight ahead. Separate the mind from the thoughts of memories and reflections of the three times, and learn to abide in a state that is uncorrected and free from grasping, without wavering. As it says in 'Radical Transformation': 'The key to manifestation is body, speech, and mind. Be sure to keep each in its proper place. And, the three kayas of the body should not be constantly changed. Speech should be stabilized through learning and abiding, over months and years. The mind is accomplished by focusing on space.' The above is the method of directly transforming manifestation into oneself by relying on the three keys. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
