Please abide in the faith that the essence of the Mother of Perfect Wisdom (Tibetan: ཤེས་རབ་མ་སྙེམས་མ, Meaning: Wisdom Mother) is seated in your lap. Hūṃ! This is the supreme path of unsurpassed enlightenment of all Buddhas. Since you are fortunate, empowerment is bestowed upon you, may the wisdom of the four joys increase! Karma Mudra, Jnana Siddhi, Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཀརྨ་མུ་དྲ་ཛྙཱ་ན་སིདྡྷི་ཧཱུྃ) The consort (Tibetan: གཟུངས་མ) thus entrusted is the essence of the Wisdom Mother (Tibetan: ཡུམ་རྡོ་རྗེ་སྙེམས་མ, Meaning: Vajra Pride Mother), and you yourself are visualized as glorious Vajrasattva. With these three recognitions, unite with the consort, thinking that the co-emergent bliss arising from the sequence of the four joys is stable. With your hands in the embracing mudra, please repeat after me: Oṃ sarva tathāgata mahā anurāgaṇa vajra svabhāva ātmako'haṃ. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་མ་ཧཱ་ཨ་ནུ་རཱ་ག་ཎ་བཛྲ་སྭ་བྷཱ་བ་ཨཱཏྨ་ཀོ྅་ཧཾ།) Thus, through the empowerment of wisdom, the defilements of the mind are purified, you have the authority to meditate on the messenger of the path, and the wisdom that realizes the nature of all phenomena as great bliss is manifested. You are made fortunate to attain the fruit of the Dharmakaya (Tibetan: ཆོས་སྐུ, Meaning: Dharmakaya). Next is the bestowal of the fourth empowerment: Keep your body still, let your speech be natural, and look to the essence of whatever arises in your mind, remaining in a state of self-awareness, self-illumination, and non-attachment. This clear and non-conceptual self-arising wisdom is symbolized by the mirror of Vajrasattva, so understand the meaning conveyed by the vajra words. Hold the crystal and recite: Ho! Beginningless and endless is the nature of awareness, Nowhere is there any grasping or grasper, The wisdom of emptiness dawns as bliss, Like rainbows in a spotless crystal. Oṃ dharma dhātu ati ho! (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་དྷརྨ་དྷཱ་ཏུ་ཨ་ཏི་ཧོ) At the end of the third line, sustain and rest slightly in the clear and non-conceptual radiance of the self-arising co-emergent wisdom of realization. Allow it to rest in its essence. Thus, through the bestowal of the fourth empowerment, the defilements of habitual patterns are purified, you have the authority to meditate on Trekchö and Tögal, and the wisdom of the utterly pure co-emergent great bliss is manifested. You are made fortunate to attain the fruit of the Svabhavikakaya (Tibetan: ངོ་བོ་ཉིད་སྐུ, Meaning: Svabhavikakaya). As a conclusion to these, the recitation transmission of the Hundred Syllable Mantra is given: Visualize that the guru and the main deity of the mandala are inseparable, and from the rosary of mantras at their heart, a second rosary of mantras falls, emerges from their mouth, and is imprinted like a seal around the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit: Hūṃ, Romanization: Hūṃ, Meaning: Seed Syllable) syllable at your heart. Please repeat this mantra three times. Please repeat the Hundred Syllable Mantra three times and the Six Syllable Mantra (Tibetan: ཡིག་དྲུག, Meaning: Six Syllable Mantra) seven times. Thus, the heart essence of the three great accomplished masters and the great translator Vairochana (Tibetan: རྣམ་སྣང་ལོ་ཙཱ་བ, Meaning: Vairochana) is mingled into one like a river of terma (Tibetan: གཏེར, Meaning: Terma). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
