A great amount of nectar emerged, and the master and his retinue held nectar vases, pouring nectar from the top of the Yaksha Gangsang, and this snow mountain was also blessed by the nectar of the gods. Therefore, this great river is called the Nyang River, and tasting the flavor of the nectar of the gods, it is called the Nyang Gold Long River. It is also said that the nectar of the gods was poured especially on the local snow mountains. Almost all of Guru Padmasambhava's direct disciples received nectar, and because the nectar was very important and highly valued, it was carefully preserved. Those disciples who were able to taste the flavor of the nectar's water stream, their descendants were also given the name "Nyangnyang." I think this is reasonable. To say that a yogi from Nyangpo blessed it, so it is called Nyang, is purely a foolish statement, which is neither reasonable nor has any basis. 22-8 Because it tasted the nectar, it is called Nyang, which has become a credible and well-founded place. At that time, Lungmar Yartab was blocked by snow, and all other valleys were covered with forests, but the master burned all the forests with the fire of wisdom through his magical powers. The nectar water stream of Yaksha Gangsang, this Nyang River, was also directed to the high ground. This river has completely become a source of benefit for the Dharma and sentient beings, and with the power of true aspiration, it is prayed that this place may mature and prosper in enjoyment, grains, trees, and so on. Explaining the greatness of the place and what is desired. Second, explaining the greatness of the place and what is desired: Thus, the place blessed by the holy beings, where the five grains ripen and various trees and plants grow luxuriantly, therefore possesses satisfying prosperity and wealth. Because the Buddha's teachings flourish, this is the center of Dharma gatherings. In Nyangto Zhung (present-day Mozhugongka County, Lhasa), there are seven monasteries from the early period of the Dharma. There is a Lhakhang of the king of calculation. There are three Chinese-style roofs. King Trisong Detsen (according to the general view, it is considered the period of Lord Tri Ralpachen) was a supporter of the early Dharma. This eastern Chinese-style roof is King Songtsen Gampo
