It is not the meaning of saying "dull." If it were so, it would not be right to become attached to the idea of self. Saying this is also incorrect. When a practitioner of the Hearer Vehicle newly enters the Great Vehicle, 18-173 if it is said that there is this uncontaminated realm, there will be a place where the view of self arises. Because it exists in this way, the profound meaning is not explained for the time being, but it is said that all phenomena are without inherent existence. Because it is said that the intermediate turning of the wheel is to show the path to those who have already tamed their minds, it is contradictory that one has not previously entered the Great Vehicle and that the intermediate turning of the wheel has tamed the mind. Therefore, the meaning of truly entering all vehicles is that because one has entered all vehicles and has already tamed the mind, it is said for the sake of sharp-witted bodhisattvas and extremely ripened disciples, therefore this is the definitive meaning. Furthermore, from another point of view, according to the view of the self-empty school, the first turning of the wheel and the final turning of the wheel must be very consistent. But here it is not so. Rather, the intermediate turning of the wheel is more consistent with the first turning, and the final turning of the wheel is very contradictory to the Lesser Vehicle. Therefore, this is the ultimate. This is evident because in both of the first turnings of the wheel, the appearance as mind is not explained, nor are the eight consciousnesses explained, nor are the classifications of the five dharmas and three natures explained at all from the beginning, and they are not extensively elaborated from the intermediate turning either. Such wisdom of the emptiness of the apprehended and the apprehender is not explained in either of those two turnings of the wheel, and the Hearers think that such wisdom does not exist at all. The proponents of the self-empty Madhyamaka also admit at this time that they are the same as the two Hearer schools, and apart from whether or not they believe that all phenomena are without inherent existence, there is not a great difference in doctrine. If, as it is thought that realizing that all phenomena are without inherent existence is a common view of all Great and Lesser Vehicles, then apart from the difference between the two Hearer schools and the view of realizing no self-nature, the paths of practice of the three vehicles are almost the same. Therefore, apart from the difference in conduct, from the point of view of view, the Hearer Vehicle and the Great Vehicle actually admit to being the same practice. The final turning of the wheel is very different from the first turning.

Therefore. It is said that appearances are mind, and the eight aggregates of consciousness, the five dharmas, and the three natures are extensively explained. Furthermore, it is said that this external object, which the Shravakas believe to exist, does not exist at all. It is also said that the non-dual wisdom, which the Shravakas do not accept at all, is truly established. Therefore, the difference in view between the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Mahayana is very great. Therefore, according to the proponents of self-emptiness, the Sutras of the Shravakas are mostly of definitive meaning, and all the vast Mahayana Sutras, except for the Prajnaparamita, are only of provisional meaning. In this way, the definitive and provisional meanings of the Great and Small Vehicles are reversed. This Other-Emptiness is not only the final teaching, but also the intermediate intention. As it is said in the "Chapter of Maitreya's Questions" of the Prajnaparamita, if after accepting the three characteristics, one thinks that all dharmas have no reality and no difference, then establishing the three characteristics becomes meaningless. Also, in the Ornament of the Sutras, it is said: "As said, it is not the meaning, the Bhagavan's intention is very profound." This also seems to indicate that one should not take what is directly shown by the words of the Prajnaparamita Sutra as the ultimate definitive meaning. Therefore, it is only said that the imputed and dependent natures on top of the dharmas from form to omniscience have no reality, and for the time being, the perfected nature is kept neutral. 18-175 Madhyamaka and Mind-Only do not consider them to be different Sutras, but rather consider the same Sutra to have only a difference in the method of explanation, so there is nothing unreasonable about this. Just like the Vaibhashika and Sautrantika, although the Sutras are not different, there is only a difference in the method of understanding. In general, since many schools that hold that Mind-Only is truly existent have appeared, they do not understand whether the treatises exist or not. Even if there are treatises, there is no need to translate them into Tibetan. If it is necessary, except for the Red-Robed Sect among the eighteen schools of the Shravakas, the Tripitaka of the other schools and the treatises of the Sautrantikas will also disappear, because they are not in Tibet. Wouldn't it become like this? Therefore, the Pramanavarttika is generally not a treatise of the Sautrantikas, and even if it is, it only has some Dharma terminology, and there is no complete school. Only the form of the view of the Sautrantikas has appeared, so there is.
