The accomplished ones equalize it in the absence of reality. The faults on the side of wisdom are: Clinging to oneself as superior, as well as reviling oneself and despising others. The antidote to that is that all self and others possess the essence of the Thus-Gone One, and that should also be known as equality. Among them, in terms of the first equality, one's own suffering is only the suffering of one sentient being, while the suffering of others is that of endless sentient beings like oneself. Each sentient being, in relation to themselves, has no difference in importance. Others, just one, and oneself, both should see eliminating suffering as the same. Not wanting suffering, being alike and equal. Just as the cause of the foot's suffering needs to be eliminated by the hand, so too, their suffering must be eliminated by oneself. Therefore, oneself and 17-741 each sentient being, being equal and similar in importance, is the meaning of equality. Because there are endless sentient beings like oneself, from a general perspective, only sentient beings are primary, and will not become equal to oneself. In terms of the second equality, appearance is merely illusion, and because its nature is free from elaboration, it is true equality. In terms of the third equality, all phenomena of relative samsara and nirvana on self and others have not been established from the beginning. Therefore, in that respect, there is no need to abide in equality. The Sugata-garbha has also never been different from the beginning, and because it is established in reality, it is ultimate equality. The second is, whatever worldly perfect bliss I experience, may it be fully enjoyed in common with all sentient beings. One's own body and possessions, their cause, the virtue of the three times, and everything that has not transcended the world, I do not desire for the sake of experiencing happiness, etc., for myself. But I, to whatever object of giving I encounter, if I wish, I will give each and every one, and if I am able, I will give. Thus, I pray and vow. From the moment of generating the first mind, one should practice in this way, and upon attaining the noble ground

Here, for each instant, one can truly do that for immeasurable sentient beings. At that time, worldly people should regard the happiness and virtues arising from the transformations of ignorance and habitual patterns in the post-attainment state as the (goal). In general, these dharanis are spoken from the perspective of practicing in the place of faith and practice. Therefore, what is directly revealed is from the perspective of faith and practice. And its lineage endlessly grows in the realm of the noble ones. Third, whatever sinful, unwholesome karmic obscurations I possess, with unsurpassed individual confession, may I not fail to confess them individually. Sin and unwholesomeness are synonymous, merely different names, and are only in the realm of ordinary beings. Karmic obscurations are also synonymous with this. It can also be said to be the habitual patterns of negative karma. In this way, both beings and noble ones possess them. However, for bodhisattvas who have received empowerment, they do not exist. "May I not fail to confess" means that one should confess. Although noble bodhisattvas are not defiled by actual transgressions, their habitual patterns have not yet been purified. The transgressions of other sentient beings are also regarded as objects of confession for bodhisattvas. Fourth, whatever demonic activities I possess, with unsurpassed complete knowledge, may I not fail to completely know them. In this regard, the actual activities of demons are limited to ordinary beings, such as delighting in procrastination when engaging in Dharma practice, delighting in desires, generating laziness, and the basis for quarrels and so on. Disparaging the virtuous roots of others, hating perfection, slandering bodhisattvas, generating elements of wrong views, generating distraction during meditation, completely reversing from virtuous roots, transforming the great into the small, changing one's mind when engaging in virtuous activities, and so on. For great noble ones, although they themselves do not have the intrusion of demonic activities, they are made to completely know them in order to abandon the demonic activities of other sentient beings. The so-called unsurpassed complete knowledge is the very recognition of demonic activities, which is the excellent gate for abandoning demonic activities.
