Yes. To say that that and Black Conduct are different is like saying, "Lingchen Repa" and "Ling Repa are not the same person." Furthermore, since the emanation of the Burning Lord is clearly remembered, it is not contradictory that various expressions of the Burning Lord's name also appear in the conduct itself. Now, some stories will be told: Now some stories will be told. There was a Caryapa yogi named Kali, who meditated near the marketplace of the Radha region. A fellow practitioner of his, named Bikali, meditated near the flourishing city of Likhara. Both of them gained some samadhi. When Bikali went to the city of Radha, he met Kali. They discussed, "We should do a tsokhor." So they invited other male and female yogis to the tsokhang. Bikali said, "Let's summon corpses from the charnel ground to be cushions." Both of them went to the charnel ground. When they whipped the corpses, all of them stood up. Arriving at the tsokhang, they fell down, each needing their own cushion. There, Bikali sat at the head of the right row, and Kali sat at the head of the left row, and they did the work of the tsokhor. When it was over, when everyone was standing up, someone said, "Now the corpses must be returned to their places." For those in Kali's row, he himself played the hand drum, and everyone stood up and danced, going to the charnel ground and falling in their former places. For those in Bikali's row, he himself focused and made gestures, and at first about half stood up and then fell again. In the middle, they just raised their heads a little. Finally, there was not even a movement. Then the yogi Kali said, "One should not be proud of just a little ability. One must still meditate." Kali kicked each of those corpses, and all of them stood up and went as before. Later, the yogi Kali attained great siddhi. Bikali also returned to his own place and meditated. At another time, he attained the siddhi of eye medicine. Also, the scribe of King Deva Bali, named Pranapa, abandoned the work of a scribe and studied Dharma, becoming a learned pandita. Then he went to a Caryapa yogi, requested instructions, and meditated. He generated good samadhi, and his body also became very light.

And thus he became free from fatigue and able to walk on water. With the ability to see the inner channels, he also knew all the treatises and types of writing that he had not known before. He was able to understand the language of animals and non-humans. Now he thought, 'Now that I have gained power, should I act?' And so he went on a journey. There, on the outskirts of a city in the country of Kamarupa, was a half-ruined temple. There he heard the sound of scripture being recited. He opened the door and went inside. There was an old yogi dressed as a renunciant, sometimes reading a book, sometimes dozing off. After talking to him for a while, Pranapa asked the reader, 'Are you a paṇḍita or a yogi?' He said, 'I am a yogi.' He asked, 'Does an old yogi do reading?' He said, 'Reading this is very difficult, so I read it thinking it will become asceticism and purify sins.' He asked, 'What is so difficult about just reading?' He said 17-195 'Then you read this, and I will go to meditate.' He handed him the book and left. Pranapa looked at the book and did not recognize even the beginning or end of the letters. The yogi was nowhere to be found. Then a voice came from the sky, 'It is not yet time to act. Meditate again.' So he went to a secluded forest and meditated. It is said that the yogi who pretended to be a reader was the accomplished Dharmapa. The yogi Pranapa later did not engage in any elaborate practices. Because he attained the siddhi of the lord of speech as stated in the Chakrasamvara Tantra, whatever prayers he made were fulfilled. There was also a Caryapa yogi meditating by a lake. The place was Uḍḍibisha. Once, at dawn, with a great sound and light, a black woman suddenly appeared. She said she was hungry, thirsty, and tired. It happened that the yogi had a piece of buffalo meat given to him by some hermits, and a pot of chang, so he gave it to her. She ate the meat in one gulp and drank the chang in one gulp. Then she happily taught him a mantra, saying, 'Through this, ten views will be accomplished.' The woman said, 'Our Phra Men Ma's custom is...'
