May I be endowed with the fortune to accomplish vast benefits for others through the gateway, may I be endowed with the fortune to perfectly accomplish my own benefit through the gateway of diligence and patience, may I be endowed with the fortune to establish the meaning of both in the complete liberation of the mind itself through the gateway of meditation and wisdom, may I be endowed with the fortune to establish all beings on the path to enlightenment by relying on the four means of gathering: generosity, kind speech, acting in accordance with the meaning, and acting in concert, so it is said. To elaborate a little, may I be endowed with the fortune to give great generosity without expecting reward or fruition, may I be endowed with the fortune to perfectly maintain discipline free from desire for rebirth, may I be endowed with the fortune to cultivate unsurpassed patience without animosity towards sentient beings, may I be endowed with the fortune to undertake perfect diligence that completely gathers all white virtuous dharmas, may I be endowed with the fortune to abide in unsurpassed meditation that transcends the realms of form and formlessness, may I be endowed with the fortune to generate in my being perfect wisdom inseparable from skillful means and great compassion, may I be endowed with the fortune to satisfy and please sentient beings with material generosity, may I be endowed with the fortune to generate special faith by speaking pleasing words of Dharma, may I be endowed with the fortune to establish practice in pure transcendence through acting in accordance with the meaning, may I be endowed with the fortune to never regress and purify the path through acting in concert, so it is said. Having thus perfected the two accumulations, may I be endowed with the fortune to quickly attain the state of all-knowing Buddhahood, may I not experience the suffering of the lower realms, and even without practicing austerities, having obtained a body superior to the gods, may I quickly attain his Buddhahood, as soon as I abandon this impure body, may I be miraculously born in Sukhavati, as soon as I am born, may I perfectly complete the ten bhumis, may I benefit others in the ten directions with emanations, recite "The mandala of the Victorious Ones is excellent," etc. If there are also monastics who rejoice in this, at the beginning of the dedication, may there be rejoicing at this time.

It should be said, "Please place it on the ground." In gatherings of the Sangha and other occasions related to great merit, if a speech is necessary, it should be given. Then, if a dedication for the deceased is performed, and if there are relatives or descendants of the deceased, then a dedication for the living, either elaborate or concise, should be completed. Even if there are no such relatives, 14-598 begin from "May this root of virtue, accomplished in this way, serve as a symbol," and continue until all power and ability increase and expand more and more, and until the sole source of benefit and happiness, up to auspiciousness, is completed. If offerings and dedications are made to a special place, do not mention the name of the Lama during the request for consideration, just as in the dedication for the living. In this way, offering to the Lama and the Three Jewels, giving to the assembly of beings, and so forth, should be combined with the virtuous deeds of that time. Furthermore, may this vast accumulation of merit, gathered through listening, contemplation, and meditation, be offered to the great spiritual friend, or to this great Vajra Holder. May all that is offered be accepted for the benefit of others, and may the profound and special intention of your mind be completely fulfilled more and more. In that pure land where you reside, may endless clouds of offerings arise continuously. May there be not even a moment of interruption to body, speech, mind, activity, and enlightened action. May all the qualities of realization of the stages of the path increase and expand more and more. Having quickly shown the complete order of the deeds of perfect enlightenment, may all limitless beings have the fortune to be placed in the Bodhi of the three vehicles. May all beings, through this virtue, like the youth Norzang, please the holy Lama, who is like an ocean of qualities. May we meet the true Lama in all lifetimes, and so on. If you wish to elaborate a little more, supplement with the general dedication mentioned in the dedication for the living, etc., as appropriate. A very concise dedication that can be applied to either the living or the dead. A very concise dedication that can be applied to either the living or the dead is: Please consider.

As before. By the power of this virtuous root and the accumulation of the virtuous roots of the three times into one. May the afflictions accumulated from beginningless samsara by the one called so-and-so, whether living or deceased, and all obscurations of meditative absorption and knowledge, be purified from their roots. May the accumulation of merit, wisdom, and discipline be fully perfected. May there be no interruption, even for a moment, in purifying the two obscurations and accumulating the two accumulations in this way. May the state of complete enlightenment, the embodiment of the four bodies and five wisdoms, be quickly attained. May all sentient beings tormented by the three sufferings have the fortune to attain ultimate, undefiled bliss. If it is for the deceased, then recite the sufferings of the lower realms, etc., If it is a dedication for the living, then recite the attainment of the three bodies of the Buddha, etc., and various auspicious verses. Dedication for those who have taken ordination and full ordination, or during occasions such as teaching and preaching. Furthermore, when making dedications for those who have taken ordination and full ordination, or during occasions such as teaching and preaching, it is mostly similar to the general dedication for the living. After the request for mindfulness, say: May the one called so-and-so, whether living or Geshe, having renounced the household life, having taken the vows of individual liberation as the root of all the sacred Dharma, and having upheld the ascetic practices of the saffron robe, benefit the eye of the teachings. In connection with this practice offering, may this virtuous root of having also revered the Three Jewels with material offerings, or say: The one called so-and-so, initially entered the sacred Dharma with steadfast faith, and in the middle, studied the supreme treatises by combining wisdom and diligence. Now, offering one's own talents and intelligence as offerings before the virtuous spiritual friends and the Sangha, this virtuous root, After connecting in this way, from the following content related to the three times of samsara and nirvana as before. According to the specific situation, say this: May the vows of individual liberation not be stained by the defilement of transgressions. May the bodhisattva's precepts be fully upheld with skillful means.
