Above the triangular mandala of the skull cup, the red letter Hrīḥ (ཧྲཱིཿ, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, shame) is the complete manifestation of the thirteen forms of the noble Avalokiteśvara. From this arises the secret red Ḍākiṇī Langchoma, with one face and two arms, holding a ḍamaru in her right hand and a skull cup filled with nectar in her left. Her right leg is bent, and her left leg is extended in a dancing posture. Her three eyes gaze intently at the sky, displaying thirteen dancing gestures, embodying Tārā. May all sentient beings of the three realms be gathered under my control, and may all needs and desires rain down like rain. Recite this mantra a hundred and eight times, etc. From the Hūṃ in your heart, emanate a garland of mantras, black in color, radiating red light, arranged like beads. Five rays of light thread through the beads like a string. They emerge from your mouth, enter the mouth of the Protector, and dissolve into the Hūṃ in the Protector's heart. Again, they arise from the Hūṃ, emerge from the Protector's navel, enter your navel, and dissolve into the Hūṃ in your heart. Contemplate this as constantly revolving like a wheel. Alternatively, recite "Phaṭ" twice and add "Svāhā," making twenty-two syllables, reciting the essence that accomplishes everything. Clearly visualize the object of the wrathful recitation. Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ śrī mahākāla, śāsana, upahariṇe, eṣo'a, paścimahākālo'a, ayaṃ idaṃ, ratnatrāya, apakāriṇi, yati pratijñā, smara sitadā, idaṃ duṣṭaṃ, kha kha, khāhi khāhi, mara mara, gṛhṇa gṛhṇa, bandha bandha, hana hana, daha daha, paca paca, dīna mikena, māraya hūṃ phaṭ, Om, Auspicious, Mahakala, Doctrine, Offering, This, Western Mahakala, This, This, Three Jewels, Harmful, Ascetic Vow, Remember That Time, This Wicked, Eat Eat, Devour Devour, Kill Kill, Seize Seize, Bind Bind, Strike Strike, Burn Burn, Cook Cook, Miserable, Kill, Hum, Phat). This is the wrathful mantra, which is considered to contain the three actions of summoning, cursing, and slaying. This is the name mantra of the goddess. Mamo, Nagmo, Baitālī, Sindha, Kuru Kuru, Hum, Phat, Svaha). This is the heart mantra of the goddess. These are the heart mantras of the four messengers. After reciting as much as possible, finally, visualize the tongues of the Protector and his retinue, from which emanates a tube of red vajra light, drawing the torma through it, and offering it, causing them to be pleased.
