In order to perfect all the dharmas of the path to enlightenment, and in order to definitely realize the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. Just as one performs the Uposatha, so too, I, who am called by this name, from this time until the sun rises tomorrow, will definitely and correctly take the Uposatha. From today onwards, I will not kill, I will not take the wealth of others, I will not engage in sexual activity, I will not speak false words, and I will abandon alcohol, which is the cause of many faults. I will not sit on high and large beds, and likewise, I will not eat untimely food. I will also abandon fragrances, garlands, ornaments, dances, and songs. Just as the Arhats always do not kill, etc., so too, I will abandon killing, etc. May I attain the state of unsurpassed enlightenment! May this world, which is filled with suffering, be liberated from the ocean of existence! Recite three times. oṃ amogha śīla saṃbhāra saṃbhāra bhara bhara mahāśuddha sattvapadma vibhūṣita bhuja dhara dhara samanta avalokite hūṃ phaṭ. Recite the seven or twenty-one times the Dharani of complete purification of the precepts. The precept of discipline is without flaws, etc., thus make aspirations. Then, the invitation, burning incense, I request that the Bhagavan, who is the protector of all sentient beings, the fearless deity who destroys the hosts of demons and their armies, who knows all things as they are, and his retinue, come to this place. Bhagavan, in countless eons, out of love for beings, purified by great compassion, fulfilled vast aspirations, the time has come for you to benefit beings as you wish, therefore, from the spontaneously accomplished palace of the Dharmadhatu, show various miraculous blessings, in order to liberate the infinite beings, I request you to come to this place together with your pure retinue. Teacher, the Tathagata Shakyamuni, and the bodhisattvas, the goddesses of wisdom and their retinue, the wrathful kings, the messengers who carry out orders, etc., I request that all without exception come to this place.
