Clarity It is said that the key to the arising of the deity body from clarity. For details, please refer to the teachings of Drogon Sangye. Among them, "The Precious Garland" is written in the form of a text, without any discussion. The Immaculate Light Garland and these two should not be taught separately, because there is nothing other than the Six Dharmas. It is said that previously, these complete Six Dharmas, when recording the text and the seal had not yet been opened, were like memos, and some brief guiding texts were written. Although there are such statements, if the Six Dharmas themselves are in the oral transmission and the seal has not been opened, even writing some fragments of text will damage the seal. If written differently, it is very inappropriate as a memo, because that would change the original meaning and become a cause of forgetting, so it is not like that. Therefore, these two are the teachings of Drogon Sangye, and the seal has been opened. It should be known that slightly different ways of contemplation are choices. Therefore, these two are the vessels of the oral transmission of the wisdom dakini Niguma, given for the sake of some disciples who do not need all the instructions. It is said that they also generated extraordinary and ultimate realizations. Even if they are included in the "Great Guidance," there is no contradiction in doing them separately, just like the illusory body single session practice. Therefore, just as the great accomplished master Kyungpo Pa separated the illusory body single session practice, Drogon Teacher also did these two. Here, it must be understood that there is no difference between the good and bad of the authors. "The Precious Garland" and these two, apart from the difference in the length of the words and whether or not speculation is involved, there is no difference in the necessary meaning. In this way, even if the most important way of contemplation is extracted separately from the detailed guidance methods, those noble beings have blessed the various guidance methods. Therefore, it is very good and appropriate to guide students with these guidance methods according to the minds of disciples with different capacities even now. In general, for word guidance, the more detailed the teachings of the lineage, the less likely it is that errors in the words will be mixed in. Other

It is imperative that it be without any mistakes, something heard from the Lama and kept in mind. For the experiential guidance of meaning, it is not necessary to completely follow the extensive and elaborate order of guidance texts. If, by relying on one or two objects of focus, experience reaches its peak, then that will grasp the essence of everything. Furthermore, if one is not inclined to practice the extensive or concise texts of the Six Dharmas, but prefers something with the name of Niguma's Six Dharmas, then for the former of the two, add transference of consciousness and bardo, as well as the "Precious Garland"; for the latter, add tummo on top of that, also adding it in an appropriate manner. If the method of adding is inserted into the main text, there is a risk of mixing it with the words of accomplished beings, so it would be better to add it separately. Other than that, so-called guidance texts of Niguma's Six Dharmas, such as those closely arranged by Je Gedun Gyatso, were not spoken by Niguma, not heard by Kyungpo, and none of the lineage Lamas conceived of them. Such fabricated things, merely running after the name of Niguma's Dharma, are only for deceiving ignorant fools who have no knowledge of the Dharma. If it is said to be a pure contemplation sequence explained from other Dharma traditions, then what is the point of attaching the name of Niguma's Dharma to it? It is completely unacceptable to attach the name of Shangpa Dharma to something that does not have even a single aspect of the Shangpa Kagyu's contemplation methods. The so-called "Illusory Body Single-Seat Yoga" comes from the oral transmission records of the great accomplished master Kyungpo, which says: "In the Illusory Body Single-Seat Yoga, there are four supplications and eight intentions. The four supplications are as in the usual four empowerments. The eight intentions are impermanence of death, devotion to the Lama, awareness of falling asleep, awareness of illusion and dreams, practice of increasing and transformation." The sequence of practice is: first, take refuge, generate bodhicitta, purify obscurations, and realize emptiness. Generate a strong sense of renunciation for the impermanence of death, doing it with more intensity than usual. Guru Yoga is similar to the usual illusory body practice. After dissolving the Lama into oneself, visualize oneself clearly as the deity's form, and also focus on all external appearances. Whatever appears, immediately visualize it clearly as the deity's form, and then focus on all of that simultaneously, contemplating that all of this is oneself.
