Po (stage), etc. Learning aspects, learning order, learning session intervals (of practice). First, learning aspects is: taking a beautiful thangka and making it bright with mirrors, etc., keeping the mind undistracted for two or three water clocks, and gazing intently. Then, visualizing the aspects of the thangka in the mind and meditating slightly. By alternating between gazing and meditating in this way, the appearances of the three faculties of superior, middling, and inferior will arise, and one should learn in accordance with them. Second, learning the order is: first, learning in sequence, if the main deity is clear, then gradually learning the deities such as the consort, and the immeasurable palace, charnel ground, and protective wheel, one by one. When stability is attained in each part, then practice combining two or three. Finally, practice until all the wheels are clear at once. Second, learning uncertainly is: sometimes learning a few deities, a small mandala, and sometimes learning many deities, a large mandala. Similarly, learning uncertain body colors, uncertain body sizes, uncertain faces, hand gestures, postures, etc., and various contractions and expansions such as combining many into few, and combining few into many. When each of these directly obtains clear appearance, then one is familiar with the order. However, in order to make these stable, one must also meditate repeatedly for a long time. Third, learning session intervals (of practice) is: after becoming appropriately familiar with the previous ones, meditating like practicing four sessions. If one is stable in this, then connect two sessions to make two sessions. If one is stable in this, then meditate with the entire night as one session. If one is also stable in this, then gradually learn to connect day and night for meditation, etc., and eventually one will be able to do it for many days without interruption. When the elements are balanced, if one can abide uninterruptedly in a single session of meditative equipoise for a whole day and night, then one should know that one is temporarily familiar with the order. Second, the degree of familiarity is divided into: unequal familiarity, equal familiarity, and especially familiarity, which is the degree of familiarity with color. If one has mastery over transforming the object of focus as desired, that is the degree of familiarity with the order. If one can abide for as long as the time that is set, that is the degree of familiarity with session intervals (of practice). Third, the degree of stability is: color.

are stable, form is stable, number is stable, and time is stable. These are the four levels of attainment. Thus, there are three ways of learning, five levels of familiarity, 8-546 and four levels of stability, which are the twelve key points of the generation stage of actualizing meditation. Secondly, to cut off the wrong paths and lead to the entrance of liberation, one must learn the key points of the view instruction. There are three key points for establishing the view of the nature of reality, one key point for the assisting condition of establishment, three key points for establishing the way of meditating on the object, and five places for cutting off wrong paths and introducing them. If these are separated individually, the key points of the view instruction are considered to be twelve. The first is that appearances are without characteristics, meaning that all causes, conditions, results, abodes, bodies, and enjoyments are unreal and like illusions. Samsara is without inherent existence, meaning that the three, karma, afflictions, and suffering, are like dreams, appearing only but not established. Therefore, one should know that they are merely conceptual thoughts. The union of one's own mind is the wisdom of non-duality, free from elaboration and grasping from the beginning, established in the unchanging realm. These are the three. The second key point of the assisting condition is devotion to the guru. The three key points of the third are: all appearances and sounds are established as mind appearances, the mind is established as emptiness, inexpressible and rootless, and emptiness is established as the co-emergent wisdom of great bliss. The five key points of the fourth are: the example of appearance as mind is a dream, the example of appearance but not established is like a moon in water and the sound of clapping hands, the example of being free from elaboration such as the nature and appearance being the same or different is like a lamp and the light of the lamp, the example of the union of appearance and emptiness is introduced by looking at the body of a person, and the example of being all-pervasive and unchanging is like space. These are the five. If all these key points of the view touch the essential points, it is called the reversion of the senses, the self-arising of wisdom, the meeting of the unborn, self-awareness of each, and the absorption of equanimity and subsequent attainment into the realm. In meaning, samsara and nirvana are equal in taste, and the path is accomplished. 8-547 When this is connected with the supreme experience of the yoga of the completion stage of meaning, it is called the wisdom of the fourth empowerment, the great seal of the completion stage, and the pure experience of the view, and the uncommon completion stage.
