From the state of emptiness, one's own mind becomes a red and white nāda, abiding in the sky. From that, a bindu. From that, a moon. From that, a head. From that, the letter ha. In the way that the letter ā is formed from the letter ha, the letter hūṃ is the essence of the five wisdoms. Together with that, the vajra ground, the fence, the net, the tent, the canopy, the outer 7-442 wheel, lotus, vajra, and the surrounding net of fire are all circular in shape. Inside that protective wheel, in the lower part, from yaṃ comes the blue wind mandala, marked with a crescent-shaped yaṃ and a banner. From raṃ comes the red fire mandala, marked with a triangular raṃ and flames. From vaṃ comes the white water mandala, marked with a circular vaṃ and a vase. From laṃ comes the yellow earth mandala, marked with a square laṃ and a three-pointed vajra. From suṃ comes Mount Meru, made of four kinds of precious jewels. It has four colors and four corners. The eight peaks are marked with suṃ. From paṃ comes the letter hūṃ residing on various lotuses. From that, various vajras of various colors are completely transformed: black in the east, green in the north, red in the west, yellow in the south, and white in the center. The elements dissolve and become the essence of liquid, going to the lower part of Mount Meru. The dissolved four elements abide on top of various vajras, completely.

Having transformed from... The immeasurable great mansion abides on a vajra-natured ground and is completely surrounded by eight great charnel grounds. Being entirely within the mudra of the Dharmodaya, there are only four levels from the outside to the inside. The three inner palaces are circular, and the outer one is square. The first palace is the wheel of the Sahajasambhogakaya, possessing two layers of black and blue walls, and is contained within a triangular Dharmodaya. The second palace is the mandala of the Dharmakaya, possessing three layers of black, red, and white walls, and is contained within a quadrangular Dharmodaya. The third palace is the mandala of the Sambhogakaya, possessing four layers of blue, yellow, red, and green walls, and is contained within a pentagonal Dharmodaya. The fourth palace is the mandala of the Nirmanakaya, possessing five layers of blue, yellow, red, green, and white walls, and is contained within a hexagonal Dharmodaya.
