Thus it is said. Introducing through meditative experience means: This awareness without grasping manifests as various phenomena, and as previously stated, it is determined that the appearance of objects is like an illusion. Because the union of the two truths is the reality of things, all sentient beings, although they have not gone beyond this nature, generate compassion for not realizing it in this way. Recognize the resonance and nature of compassion, which are free from elaboration and without grasping. If it is related to inner experience, then emptiness and form are known as mind, and happiness arises from it, and because the going and coming of these two are one, their essence is also introduced as one. If inner experience has not yet arisen, then the inseparability of emptiness and compassion is the reality of things. In this, the essence or nature of compassion is the state or mind that prevents the suffering of oneself and others and abides in happiness. The reason why the nature of such a dharma abides is that all sentient beings desire happiness in the form of sudden defilements, and the craving that does not desire suffering arises. Furthermore, for this reason, the compassionate virtuous mind that desires to protect sentient beings from suffering also appears as a radiance of that nature. Introducing the reality of non-elaboration is the same as in general. Determining through the three confidences means: The lama also introduces the reality of union through the three means of scripture, reason, and instruction. It is also said in the tantras: "Whoever says that emptiness and compassion are incompatible, the speaker's lineage will decline without declining." Through experience, emptiness and compassion are experienced as inseparable, so the three confidences arise in the lama, the scriptures, and oneself, and it is determined as the reality of union. Among those explained in this way, introducing wisdom as being like the sky means: It is determined that the conceptual is not established from the beginning, and it is introduced as being like an illusion in the subsequent attainment, so although there is no truth in the dependent, it is also determined that cause and effect are not deceptive. Introducing union as immutable, it is determined that although the perfect is established from the beginning, it is also free from elaboration. Furthermore, for these three in order: characteristiclessness, birthlessness, and meaning
