May all kinds of wonderful heavenly waters and the like be dedicated to all sentient beings and the path to Buddhahood. Holding and grasping the perfect and complete enlightenment of the Buddhas of the three times (past, present, and future), all the secrets of body, speech, and mind. The great lord of light who subdues all demons, holding the vajra, I praise and pay homage to you. Holding the perfect and complete enlightenment of the Buddhas of the three times, all the wonderful treasures of the Dharma. And the retinue who hold the secret teachings, I respectfully offer, praise, and pay homage. May all kinds of wonderful heavenly waters and the like be dedicated to all sentient beings and the path to Buddhahood. Possessing great compassion and miraculous powers, remembering you can liberate from all suffering and calamities. Shining upon all sentient beings like the bright sun, I respectfully offer to the All-Illuminating One. May all kinds of wonderful heavenly waters and the like be dedicated to all sentient beings and the path to Buddhahood. To the Great Bodhisattva Moonlight Illuminating All (The great Bodhisattva who illuminates all with moonlight), whose body is white, seated on a lotus throne. With two arms forming the teaching mudra, holding a rosary, I respectfully offer, praise, and pay homage. May all kinds of wonderful heavenly waters and the like be dedicated to all sentient beings and the path to Buddhahood. The Lord of Gods, Indra (ruler of the Trayastrimsa Heaven), holding the vajra, the kings of the gods and the lords of the demonic hosts. And the retinue of the eastern gods, I offer, praise, and pay homage. The fire god who enjoys the sacrificial flames, the great immortals and kings of the gods, and the lords of the demonic hosts. And the retinue of the southeastern immortals, I offer, praise, and pay homage. The Yama (Lord of Death) holding the jeweled staff, the queen of the underworld and the lords of the demonic hosts. And the retinue of the southern Yama, I offer, praise, and pay homage. The goddess who is far from the truth but possesses beauty, the Yaksha king and the lords of the demonic hosts. And the retinue of the southwestern Yaksha, I offer, praise, and pay homage. The water god holding the noose, the Naga (dragon) king and the lords of the demonic hosts. And the retinue of the western Naga king, I offer, praise, and pay homage. The wind god holding the wind of life, the seed-holding god-king and the lords of the demonic hosts. English version Lord of the Rakshasa Assembly To the assembly of Rakshasas (Rakshasa: a type of demon or goblin) in the north, I offer, praise, and pay homage. Possessing mastery, the enticing deity, Vighnanaraja (Vighnanaraja: King of Obstacles), lord of the Rakshasa assembly. To the assembly of the lord in the northeast, I offer, praise, and pay homage. To all the deities above, Aditya (Aditya: Sun god), Chandra (Chandra: Moon god), and the planets. To the assembly of stellar deities, I offer, praise, and pay homage. To the Naga (Naga: serpent deities) kings and earth deities below, holding the great earth in their hands. To the assembly upholding the Samaya (Samaya: sacred vows), I offer, praise, and pay homage. Subduing all afflictions, possessing merit, saving the world, venerable Sattva (Sattva: being). A body of liberation, wonderful as a true jewel, I offer unsurpassed offerings. All kinds of Arghya water (Arghya: water offered as a sign of respect), and all the meritorious waters of the world. I offer to the guardian deities of the ten directions, may the (holy benefactor) lord descend for benefit. May all kinds of celestial flowers and so on be dedicated to sentient beings and the path to Buddhahood. Cutting off the defilements of desire realm, abiding in the position of Brahma. To Mahabrahma (Mahabrahma: Great Brahma), lord of the Saha world, I offer to the assembly of Great Brahma. With three faces and six arms, subduing the Asuras (Asura: a type of demigod), pervading all with equality. Radiating light in the heavenly realms, with great divine power, I offer to the great deity Narayana (Narayana: a Hindu god). In the most excellent place of the upper realm, personally beholding Maitreya (Maitreya: the future Buddha), the protector. And to the sons of the Tushita heaven (Tushita: one of the six heavens of the desire realm), the (holy benefactor) lord devoutly offers. Counteracting the Asuras, lord among the gods, with three eyes observing the three times. Protecting the fourfold assembly of the Buddhist teachings, I offer to the lord of gods, venerable Indra (Indra: King of the Gods). Dwelling before the wonderful Mount Meru, following expedient means to assist in governance and transformation. To all the assemblies of deities, may the offering fulfill the (holy benefactor) lord's wish. Possessing great pure faith, destroying the mountain of pride and arrogance. Attending the guide, following the teachings, I offer to the assembly of the eight classes of beings. May all kinds of celestial waters and so on be dedicated to sentient beings and the path to Buddhahood. The Western King Virūpākṣa (one of the Four Heavenly Kings, who can observe the world with a pure heavenly eye), his body is red, holding a snare (a type of trap), guarding the western gate of the Buddha lands in the eight directions. I pay homage to him with offerings and praise. The merit of offering is equal to what was previously mentioned, up to dedicating it to all sentient beings and ultimately achieving Buddhahood. The Northern King Vaiśravaṇa (one of the Four Heavenly Kings, famous for his blessings), his body is green, holding a precious trident (a type of weapon), guarding the northern gate of the Buddha lands in the eight directions. I pay homage to him with offerings and praise. The merit of offering is equal to what was previously mentioned, up to dedicating it to all sentient beings and ultimately achieving Buddhahood. Kumbhīra and other Yakṣa Kings (a type of guardian deity), each leading seven hundred million attendants, vowing to protect the teachings of the Tathagata (如来). I bow my head and pay respect to all the great Yakṣa Kings. The Upāsaka (a lay male devotee) with great power and virtue, the Yakṣa General Kumbhīra, his body is yellow, holding a precious club (a type of weapon), leading seven hundred million Yakṣa attendants, vowing to protect the teachings of the Tathagata. The Upāsaka with great power and virtue, the Yakṣa General Vajra, his body is white, holding a precious sword, leading seven hundred million Yakṣa attendants, vowing to protect the teachings of the Tathagata.
