Like smoke dissolving into the sky, the central blue fades away. Please relax your body and mind, and rest in the state of indivisible clarity and emptiness, the inexpressible great bliss, for as long as you can. The master rings the bell, and from 'Namo Buddhaya' to the recitation of the mantra, it is the same as the previous three. The Blessing of the Torma Offering: Third is the blessing of the torma offering. Invite the torma in front of you to the crown of the disciple's head, and visualize as follows: The protector in front of you and his retinue descend upon the crown of your head with a roaring sound. In the sky above, the lineage lamas, and around them, all the heroes and dakinis of the three places, abide like dense clouds. From the bodies of the lamas, rays of light, the nature of great bliss, radiate and dissolve into your body, purifying all sins, obscurations, and broken vows. From the body of the protector, countless tiny forms of the protector radiate, entering without obstruction into all parts of your body, including the crown of your head, filling your entire body, dancing with joy, reciting mantras with their voices, and greedily devouring all diseases and demons. Visualize clearly in this way that the lamas and the protector, although different in appearance, are inseparable in essence, and generate strong devotion. Recite the extensive lineage prayer, or combine it with the place, or recite the prayer to Sangye Dorje Changchen: Pray to the Dharmakaya Yeshe Khandro! Pray to glorious Shavari Wangchuk! Pray to the inseparable Lama Gonpo! Pray to the inseparable Gonpo Lama! May the swift-acting Chenrezig Wang bestow blessings! Similarly, starting from Maitripa, after every three lineage lamas, add 'inseparable Lama Gonpo'. In short: Pray to the inseparable Lama Gonpo! Pray to the inseparable Gonpo Lama! Pray to the mother lama with signs! Pray to the father dharma lord with signs! Look with compassion upon sentient beings in the degenerate age of evil! Look with compassion upon those who wander in the evil cycle of samsara! Pray in this way. Together with your retinue, you must not transgress the commands and vows of the glorious root and lineage masters, protect the Buddha's teachings, praise the virtues of the Three Jewels, and safeguard the Sangha. In particular, for this Vajra disciple, until enlightenment is attained, accompany them like body and shadow, pacify all adverse conditions, illnesses, evil spirits, obstacles, and disharmony, and increase favorable conditions such as longevity, merit, wealth, and the qualities of learning, contemplation, and realization, may all goodness increase and expand more and more. At the end of the mantra of the aforementioned Protector together with the retinue, recite 'ja hūṃ baṃ ho' (ཛ་ཧཱུྃ་བཾ་ཧོ་, ja hūṃ baṃ ho). Visualize the aforementioned lineage masters gradually dissolving into light and merging into the Protector together with the retinue. The retinue also merges into the main deity, the Protector himself. That also dissolves into light, into the nature of great bliss, and merges from the crown of your head, contemplate that body, speech, and mind merge indivisibly into one taste, and rest in the inexpressible state of Mahamudra for a short while. Without moving from that state, again visualize yourself clearly appearing as the form of the Protector, inseparable from emptiness. Fourth, bestowing the subsequent permission of mantra: Please recite this prayer to the master: 'Protector, please grant me, please instruct me.' Have them do it three times. Visualize that from the mantra garlands at the heart of the Protector together with the retinue in front, garlands of mantras appear in the manner of one lamp spreading to two. Emerging from each of their mouths, they enter the mouth of you who are visualized as the Protector. Visualize at the heart, in the center of the solar mandala, a dark blue Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, hūṃ, seed syllable, subjugation) syllable, and finally visualize it arranged in a clockwise direction, please repeat the following mantra: Oṃ Vajra Mahākāla (ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་མཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལ་, oṃ vajra mahākāla, Great Black One Vajra) etc., the life mantra of the Protector. Recite the mantras of Śāsana (ཤ་ས་ན་, Skt: Śāsana, teaching), the goddess, and the four Yakshas three times each in succession, holding onto the master's rosary and repeating. By this, contemplate that you have received the recitation transmission of all the mantras. Then, the master places the rosary or flower on the disciple's head and says, may the compassion and power of the swiftly acting wisdom Protector Six-Armed Mahākāla together with the retinue, and all the blessings of the mantra, enter the minds of these Vajra disciples.
