The initial wealth of governance is hundreds of thousands, with the far-sightedness like Indra's bow, having fully entered the complete Buddha's teachings, I pay homage to you who are free from the faults of the three doors. For the subtle and extremely subtle permissions and prohibitions, with the wisdom to distinguish them without confusion, having cast impure conduct far away, I respectfully pay homage to the great Shravaka. Having well undertaken the great burden of all benefit and happiness of this world, with the loving-kindness of great courage, spending days and nights in the conduct of a Bodhisattva, from the depths of my heart, I pay homage to the feet of the great Bodhisattva. With the strength of wisdom and compassion that is not inferior, having fully understood all the extremely vast collections of scriptures, being skilled in teaching others, I pay homage to you who are worthy of reverence by all. For those with lineage, taming the continuum with the vehicle that is in accordance with themselves and what follows, teaching the profound path, being skilled in bestowing Buddhahood in this very life, I pay homage to the master of the boundless teachings. With the unsurpassed excellence of great discernment, in distinguishing the truth of the vast hundred treatises, not being shaken by the interference of others, I pay homage to the sovereign of the omniscient wise ones. Possessing the vast Dharma eye like a thousand eyes, from the crest jewel of the great ones, never abandoning the pair of feet elsewhere, I pay homage to the crest jewel of the wise ones of the snowy land. Even those who always take refuge in the heap of darkness, those with one-sided views who are content with wrong views, are also attached to the rays of your speech like moonlight, I pay homage to the protector of the dark night of degenerate times. Surrounded by the light of stainless transmission like lightning, the rays of the pure reasoning vajra, being skilled in striking the hearts of arrogant opponents, I pay homage to the sovereign of vast reasoning. The power of your treatises surpasses hundreds of weapons, destroying the self-made, intoxicated powerful armies, abandoning the non-Dharmic clamor, being skilled in entering the darkness beneath the earth, I pay homage to you. Having accomplished the power to distinguish Dharma from non-Dharma, for the treatises that speak of non-Dharma in the guise of Dharma, being skilled in completely destroying them, the victory banner of composition, being skilled in raising it to the peak of existence, I pay homage to you. Glorious Ewam (Tibetan: ཨེ་ཝཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: एवं, Sanskrit Romanization: evam, Chinese literal meaning: 如是), the place possessing all Dharmas, the great source of eighty-four thousand Dharmas, constantly reveling in the dance of bliss and emptiness illusion, I pray to the all-pervading Vajradhara. Revealing the stainless empowerment and the explanation of the pure tantras, as well as the complete body of instructions, the high secret place, the means of accomplishing the four bodies in the four mandalas, --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I pray to the glorious master. To all the vast teachings of the Thubpa (Buddha), especially the profound path of secret mantra, Which only you illuminate in this age, I pray to the incomparable, kind one. The son born from the hearts of all the Buddhas, For the great kingdom of inner and outer Dharma, Who has the power to turn the wheel of Dharma, There is no other than you in these three realms. Therefore, possessing the treasure of all good qualities such as strength and fearlessness, All your excellent teachings, Though they cannot be measured or fully described, Yet, starting from the ways of liberating beings through the four activities, I offer a slight praise, May this virtue also be dedicated to all beings, To be liberated from the ocean of existence. With the well-built boat of leisure and opportunity, created by hundreds of accumulated merits, Adorned with the banners of aspiration, Held by the incomparable holy protector, May it sail to the ocean of pure morality. Like tasting honey on the tip of a razor, Being greatly struck by the sufferings of change, It is not right to trust in the happiness of existence, Please bless to dry up the ocean of samsara. Through the kindness of the lama who shows the supreme vehicle, In the vajra body, the four spontaneously accomplished mandalas, With the four pure empowerments, the four Buddha bodies, May they be accomplished in this very life. These words, though sinking in the Ocean of laziness, yet involuntarily Driven by the force of urging, Are of excellent and virtuous mind. This reason, on the throne of great wisdom, For the inner and outer scriptures and most terms, Though with the pride of slightly clearing the darkness, One does not see the qualities of others as they are. Yet, for the lama who respectfully holds the three vows, From the glory of the overflowing ocean of faith, The one who suddenly proclaims a thousand dragon roars of praise, Shakya Chokden Drime Lekpai Lo. This, in the year of full age, In the white part of Virgo, In the early morning of the first day, Having abandoned the non-virtuous deeds of body, speech, and mind from afar, Taking the dust of the feet of this venerable master on the crown of my head, Being urged by the monk Shakya Shenyen, who is unremitting in the yoga of the two stages, and relying on the combined favorable conditions, Having become a subject of the all-pervading Vajradhara, the monk Shakya Chokden Lekpai Lodro, with manifest words and ornaments. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
