From how to train in the sublime conduct, please extensively explain how the {mandala} (དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་,梵文:mandala,梵文 Romanization: maṇḍala, literal meaning: center) of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva's conduct can be completely perfected.' Having said this, Manjushri replied in verse: 'For the sake of Samantabhadra's supreme conduct, I have perfected the vast aspiration. Look to the aspiration for enlightenment through Samantabhadra's wisdom. Therefore, son of good family, it is rare to generate the mind of enlightenment and to seek the conduct of a Bodhisattva, and even rarer not to be weary of seeking virtuous friends. Son of good family, in this southern direction, there is a mountain called 'Beautiful Neck,' where a monk named 'Glory of Clouds' resides. Go to him and ask how to train in the conduct of a Bodhisattva and be diligent. He will show you the {mandala} (དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་,梵文:mandala,梵文 Romanization: maṇḍala, literal meaning: center) of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva's conduct.' Thus, starting from the monk Glory of Clouds, and again transforming into Manjushri the Youth, the previous virtuous friends, in the manner of prophesying to the later ones, venerated one hundred and eight virtuous friends. At the end of learning the conduct of a Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, seated on a lion throne in the Akanishta heaven, revealed to Norzang the liberation and great conduct of a Bodhisattva. All the liberations of the Buddhas' sons that the previous virtuous friends had spoken of, even if gathered together, could not come close to what he revealed, which Norzang's mind was able to see. By learning from him, Norzang attained countless samadhis and Dharma gates that he had not attained before. At that time, Samantabhadra extended his extremely long right hand and placed it on Norzang's crown, reciting this aspiration. Therefore, the one hundred and eight virtuous friends that the boy Norzang relied upon were from the initial generation of the mind of enlightenment until the moment of the arising of the wisdom of the path of seeing. At that time, when he directly saw the complete enjoyment body and its retinue, he also extensively showed how to train in the subsequent conduct from the first to the tenth bhumi. And this 'King of Aspirations' is a condensed verse that explains all of these meanings. End.
