In order to explain that the two goals of the main Bodhicitta are ultimately achieved, if it is not explained in its teachings, then merely focusing on the ultimate Bodhicitta will have the fault of falling into annihilationist Nirvana. The second point is divided into two parts: explaining that even if one is born in Samsara, one will not be defiled by the faults of Samsara; and explaining that even if one has abandoned the afflictions of being born in Samsara, one can still be born in it. The first point is: those who have the thought of saving sentient beings and directly realize emptiness, even if they are born in the mud of existence, just as the petals of a lotus flower are not defiled by the faults of water, they will not be defiled by the faults arising from existence, because they directly realize emptiness. The second point is: like the sons of the Buddhas, Samantabhadra (普贤,the universally good) and Maitreya (慈氏,the loving one), although they have burned the firewood of afflictions, even so, those who are healed by compassion and controlled by compassion will still enter the womb, be born, play, leave home, practice austerities, manifest great Bodhi, destroy the armies of Mara, turn the wheel of Dharma, abide in the realms of the gods, and show Nirvana. Similarly, they will transform into the forms of Brahma (梵天,the creator god in Hinduism), Indra (帝释天,the king of gods), Vishnu (遍入天,the preserver god in Hinduism), Maheśvara (大自在天,the destroyer god in Hinduism), etc., and dance in existence with the actions of taming sentient beings. Who will do this? Those who have the nature of compassion. The second part is: if someone thinks that even if one does not work for sentient beings, merely practicing emptiness can attain ultimate Nirvana, just like the Nirvana without remainder. There are four answers to this: pointing out that that is not ultimate Nirvana; pointing out that after obtaining such Nirvana, one must enter the Mahayana path; explaining the reason for taking birth in Samsara after entering the Mahayana path; and eliminating the refutation of this. The first point is that the so-called 'inferior Nirvana', that is, the two wisdoms of Nirvana with remainder and Nirvana without remainder, what is said there is intentional and not ultimate. The intention is to become a means of Mahayana. The necessity is to give rest to those who are tired of the path of Samsara. The second point is that until the Buddha urges them, the Shravaka Arhats who have the substance of the body of wisdom will faint from being intoxicated by Samadhi and abide in the realm without remainder. When the Buddha urges them, they will generate Bodhicitta in various forms. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From you, attachment arises for the benefit of sentient beings, accumulating the accumulations of merit and wisdom, thereby attaining the perfect enlightenment of Buddhahood. This treatise explains that the nature of the inferior Nirvana is wisdom. The third question is: what causes them to take birth in samsara again? The answer is: because there are the habitual tendencies of both ignorance and uncontaminated karma. This habitual tendency is called a seed, it is just a name. When the elements of these seeds gather, they produce the sprout of samsara. Therefore, the cause of rebirth in samsara for Bodhisattvas who have attained power and Arhats of Hearers and Solitary Realizers who have entered into the non-remaining Nirvana is that habitual tendency, as stated in the Sutra Requested by the Goddess Shri Mala. The fourth question is: if only the essence of emptiness and compassion is the main cause of complete enlightenment, and after attaining the non-remaining Nirvana, one must also study this path, then why in all the Buddha's scriptures, is only the essence of emptiness and compassion not taught? The answer is: Considering the different thoughts of those to be tamed, the Buddha taught many different aspects of the Dharma. All of these are unified in the essence of emptiness and compassion. All the distinctions of the grounds and paths are shown as parts of it. By meditating in this way, one is liberated from the extreme of annihilationist Nirvana. First, the sacred Dharmas taught by the protectors of the world have many methods and different ways of teaching in the world, because one must follow the different thoughts of each sentient being. Second, some Dharmas are profound, some are vast, and some have both characteristics, etc. Although many different differences are shown, they are not different from the essence of emptiness and compassion, because they are non-dual with it. Third, the dharanis, the grounds, and the perfections of the Buddhas, all of these are the essence of emptiness and compassion, a part of the mind of ultimate Bodhi, which the Buddhas have taught in the Sutra of the Ten Grounds and other scriptures. Fourth, after directly realizing emptiness, constantly benefiting sentient beings through body, speech, and mind, as mentioned above, those who argue about emptiness say that there is a fault of falling into the extreme of annihilation, that argument does not exist for you, because until the three things of maturation, taming, and purification are not completed, the true... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
