Foot washing water is: the two thumbs of both hands are as above, and the left and right index and middle fingers are extended, the right hand is inward and the left hand is outward and crossed. Bend the left and right ring fingers and little fingers inward, and place them on top of the two thumbs, this is the mudra of Padyam and the flower is: the two thumbs of both hands are inward and rotate the fingers inward, one finger pressing on another. After retracting the fingers, bring them together so that the index fingers touch, this is the mudra of Pushpe. Incense is: from this, extend both hands upwards in a gesture of separating outwards. Food: The two hands face upwards, and the two ring fingers are slightly raised, with the two thumbs placed at the base, it is the mudra of Naivedya (offering). Music: The two hands are turned outwards. According to the ritual, the index finger and little finger of the right and left hands are extended. The two thumbs are placed side by side and extended from the middle of the Dharmodaya (source of dharma), it is the mudra of Dharma (law).
