Stretching on the wooden ash altar is the mudra of Amrita The Rakta (梵文:rakta,梵文罗马拟音:rakta,汉语字面意思:blood) mudra is: both thumbs and index fingers of both hands touch each other's tips, the tips of the right thumb and index finger touch the joint of the left thumb, and the tips of the other fingers of the left and right hands touch each other, this is the Rakta mudra. The Torma mudra is the same as the previous Naivedya mudra. Then: the fingers of the left hand are stretched and spread, and the fingers of the right hand are stretched and bent downwards, crossing over the left hand like a cross, and the two thumbs are bent inwards, this is the Tana mudra. The Dispelling mudra is: both hands make the threatening mudra, the left threatening mudra is placed on the middle finger, and the right threatening mudra crosses towards the little finger, this is the Gana mudra. At the beginning of the mantras of the outer, inner, and secret offerings, the lotus rotation mantra should be recited first, then the mudras of the respective offering mantras should be made, and at the end of the mantra, the dissolving mudra should be made, all should be done in this way. At the end of each of the outer, inner, and secret offerings, the offering instrument, the Damaru drum, with two lengths, should be played. This note on mudras was written by Shila Vajra according to the oral instructions of Kyabje Khandro Rinpoche as part of the profound Dharma.
