This Dharma sound called 'The Seven-Branched Supplication' is from the eldest son of the Dharma Lord (chos rje): the great Paṇḍita: Rāhula Śrīśāntimati, Kamaladāti, Subhūticandra, the four of them, while not separated from the Samādhi (ting nge 'dzin) of blessing, as tears flowed like rain, in the great maṇḍala (dkyil 'khor) of the complete retinue, personally written down in front of two hundred Paṇḍitas, one of which is incomplete... more than a hundred years. In the white month (dkar phyogs zla ba) of the Bird Year (bya lo), on the fifth day of Saturn's day (spen pa'i nyi ma), it showed the setting of the sun of the world. 'Alas! Come back, come back, wake up! Do not fear, great hero! Death is just a false concept!' Such a great sound echoed in the sky. Countless beautiful ones, from immeasurable places, holding skull fragments, etc., holding ashes, umbrellas, and victory banners (rgyal mtshan). Others play various musical instruments, praising, honoring, extolling, and singing. Where is the glorious Śrīcakrasamvara (dpal ldan bde mchog), the supreme king of the four bodies (sku bzhi)? Look, listen, manifest! The Lord (dbang phyug po) of the world realm ('jig rten khams), with his own retinue, Devas (lha) or Gandharvas (dri za), Nāgarājas (klu dbang), etc., came to shower clouds of offerings, raining down heavenly flowers, accompanied by fragrance, beautiful music, goddesses, and young nāga maidens, shedding tears and making offerings there. At that time, the earth shook six times. The Paṇḍitas, including two hundred, unanimously heard this Dharma sound in the sky and attained the supreme Samādhi. So it is. After that, the remains, etc., were well collected and a stūpa (mchod rten) was built, and it is said that even now, on the tenth day of each month, a rain of flowers can still be seen falling. After that, two Paṇḍitas brought the relics and three śarīras (ring bsrel) back to Tibet, and on the way, the three śarīras increased to thirteen. The king of Ya rtse served the two Paṇḍitas with the relics for three months on the way, and took away three śarīras when he left. All the rest were handed over to the translator (lo tsstsha ba), and they went to the place of Nyangtod Nyentso (nyang stod nyan 'tsho). Remembering the qualities of the Guru's body, speech, and mind, after praying, three śarīras appeared there, etc., and it is said that loving-kindness (byams chen) was in his heart. Above. These are also just brief summaries, and if described in detail, it would only be in vain to exhaust one's own wisdom, and it is impossible to describe the virtues of that holy Guru, in general, on this great earth, especially in the holy land of India, the palace of Dharma... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In whatever place, there are many qualified paṇḍitas (Sanskrit scholars) and accomplished beings. Even so, before this Paṇchen (great scholar) first appeared, the Tathāgata (another name for the Buddha) Rabsel Gyalpo (King of Clear Light) had already attained Buddhahood. Thereafter, in Akanishta (the Pure Land of Akanishta), he manifested to the Bodhisattvas in the Sambhogakaya (Enjoyment Body). In immeasurable pure and impure realms, through supreme and other limitless emanations, he benefits beings in ways that suit the capacity of those to be tamed. Therefore, he is the lamp that dispels the darkness of Jambudvipa (this world we live in) and others, unmatched and unrivaled by others. Nubchenpo (the Great Nub) said: 'In this great land, there are many wonders, but whether in India, Kashmir, Nepal, Tibet, China, or Khotan, you are the unequaled Lord of Dharma, I prostrate to you, the lamp of Jambudvipa!' Even so, to illustrate with a partial example, just as a lotus grows from mud but is not stained by the mud's impurities, and possesses perfect color and form, as well as honey-like taste and fragrance, similarly, this Dharma Lord, though born in the mud of the degenerate age, is not stained even slightly by the faults of samsara (cyclic existence). He possesses the perfect color of generously giving away inner and outer resources, has the form of speaking pleasing and delightful words, emits the fragrance of guiding others to practice the six perfections (generosity, ethics, patience, diligence, concentration, and wisdom), and possesses the perfect honey of practicing as he teaches. Moreover, just as the sun's orb illuminates all directions, overwhelms the stars, and ripens crops and lotuses, similarly, this Lord of Dharma, by greatly illuminating the Buddha's teachings, illuminates all beings with the light of Dharma, overwhelms the stars of evil opponents such as tirthikas (non-Buddhists), and causes the crops of virtue and the lotuses of wisdom to grow in the minds of those to be tamed. Just as a precious jewel possesses perfect light, color, form, and wish-fulfilling wealth, similarly, this Dharma Lord Rinpoche also possesses perfect light of qualities such as learning, thinking, and meditating, has the color and form of bodhicitta (the mind of enlightenment) and skillful means, and for whoever relies on him and prays to him, all worldly and transcendent wealth will be easily accomplished. Just as a wish-fulfilling tree --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
