It is said: It is a great elephant! Third, to practice the meaning of such mind training, one must possess six kinds of stability. The Victorious Götsangpa said: Outwardly, the stability of dwelling in a solitary retreat; inwardly, the stability of dwelling in a hut; secretly, the stability of dwelling in a bed; the stability of dwelling upon the view of non-duality; the stability of dwelling upon undistracted meditation; the stability of dwelling upon unattached conduct—one must possess these six kinds of stability. This was also written by Karma Lungrik Yarphel's Unforgettable Torma Keeper Ratna, may it be virtuous! The Quintessence of Practice, the Lamp of Clear Light, of the Category of Instructions. Homage to Guru Mahānidhipāda! In the Quintessence of Practice of the Category of Instructions, the ground is primordially pure, the path is Tögal, and the way the four visions manifest in the fruition is decisively established. Relying on the meaning instruction and introduction of the two, the Mind Section and the Space Section, the skill of meditating on Tögal, the way of abiding in primordial purity, is perfected. To enhance the special characteristics of the Category of Instructions, meditating on Tögal, first, the lamp is decisively established: First, on the vajra body to be trained, on the right channel Roma, the wisdom of bliss arises; on the left channel Kyangma, the wisdom of clarity arises; on the central channel Awadhuti, the support for the arising of non-conceptual wisdom, and the lamp of Cittashaya. The lamp of the white, smooth channels located on it, the tube of Kati crystal. The lamp of the far-reaching water, these three are the three inner lamps. The lamp of the pure realm of space, the lamp of the empty bindu, the three lamps of self-arisen wisdom are the three outer lamps. Combining the inner and outer, there are six lamps. If the far-reaching is divided into three, the far-reaching of the aggregation of the elements is the root of the eye; the far-reaching of the aggregation of the senses is the sense consciousness; the far-reaching of the aggregation of wisdom is the door of the clear light channels. If divided into nine, the lamp of the bardo time is the way the bardo manifests; the lamp of the ultimate fruition is the body and wisdom; these two arise naturally, and the abiding ground lamp, the wisdom that is inseparable from the three, ground, path, and fruition, pervades all, these are the nine. If condensed into four, the lamp of self-arisen wisdom, the lamp of far-reaching water, the lamp of the pure realm of space, the lamp of the empty bindu, these are the four. Jhe Sherab Özer said: From the womb of the realm of self-arisen wisdom, the far-reaching lamp opens the door of awareness, pure

As it is said, the lamp of existence displays various ornaments, and a thousand lamps of bindus manifest the mandala of peaceful and wrathful deities. Thus it is said. Regarding the method of taking these meanings to heart, it is necessary to master the key points of three postures and three ways of looking. As it is said, the postures of a lion, an elephant, and a sage, and the ways of looking are sideways and downward. The first is: cross the hands and place them between the legs, look straight at the crown of the head with both eyes, and with the gaze of the Dharmakaya lion, completely purify into the realm of emptiness. Thus it is said. The second is the elephant posture: place the four limbs on the ground, support the cheeks with the hands, raise the chin, lead the eyes to the side, and with the gaze of the Sambhogakaya elephant, practice the skill of self-luminous bindus. The third is the sage posture: hold the knees with both hands, squat, straighten the body, and look straight ahead. With the gaze of the Nirmanakaya sage, practice the skill of the union of awareness. Thus it is said, practice the skill with the three postures and ways of looking. Furthermore, focus on the sun and moon, lamps, mirrors reflecting sunlight, and bright openings, etc., and train the mind in a state of non-grasping. Sometimes, turn your back to the sun and focus on the cloudless sky, and practice the instructions of the threefold sky. If you are concerned about harming your eyes by practicing in the sunlight during the day, look at the moonlight for a long time at night. Bless three grains of barley made into small balls of dough that have been rubbed on the eyes, recite the names of the four Tathagatas, dedicate with Sambhara (Sanskrit Devanagari: संभार, Sanskrit Romanization: saṃbhāra, Chinese literal meaning: accumulation), generate the mind of Bodhicitta, and make dedications and aspirations. Although there are not many specific rules for practitioners of the Tögal (Leap Over) lineage, the more stable the inner awareness, the more stable the outer manifestation doors. Therefore, it is important to practice constantly without distraction. Regarding the way of manifestation: when the Dharmata is directly seen, small bindus and rays of light appear from within the pure Dharmadhatu, but they are not very stable. As the experience increases, the thought arises whether the five-colored bindus are a Buddha image or not. When awareness reaches its peak, the eyes, nose, etc. of the deity clearly appear. First, half-body images of Vajrasattva (Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रसत्त्व, Sanskrit Romanization: vajrasattva, Chinese literal meaning: Diamond Being) etc., then full-body images, the Five Dhyani Buddhas, etc., and one's own Yidam deity appear and become very stable. In the manifestation of the exhaustion of Dharmata, the momentum of increase
