Directly fix your gaze like a startled rabbit. Look straight ahead as if aligning an arrow. Then lower it slightly and look like an elephant. In the evening, at dusk, gather the senses into their places: In the navel, there is a red lotus with four petals. On top of it, a clear and hot red short A (Tibetan: ཨ་ཐུང་དམར་པོ།, Devanagari: अ थुङ द्मर् पो, Romanized Sanskrit: a thung dmar po, Literal Chinese meaning: A Short Red), blazing with fire, rises up from the central channel. When it touches the Ham (Tibetan: ཧཾ་, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: ham, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) at the crown of the head, the bindu drips down, nourishing the fire, which burns in the navel, incinerating karma and habitual tendencies. When bliss increases, rest in the state of bliss-emptiness. At noon, gather the knowable into the vase: Inside the heart, visualize a shimmering white A (Tibetan: ཨ་དཀར་པོ།, Devanagari: अ धवल् पो, Romanized Sanskrit: a dhaval po, Literal Chinese meaning: A White). At the aperture of Brahma, visualize a white A (Tibetan: ཨ་དཀར་པོ།, Devanagari: अ धवल् पो, Romanized Sanskrit: a dhaval po, Literal Chinese meaning: A White). Between the two, in the Avadhuti, like a string of black A's (Tibetan: ཨ་ཕྲ་མོ།, Devanagari: अ श्याम् पो, Romanized Sanskrit: a shyam po, Literal Chinese meaning: A Black), each merges into the other, and both merge into the state of luminosity in the heart. Visualize the rays of light shining from the channels like the iridescence on a peacock's neck. This is concealing sleep in the sheath of luminosity. In the early morning, upon rising, exhale three long breaths with the sound Ha (Tibetan: ཧ་, Devanagari: ह, Romanized Sanskrit: ha, Literal Chinese meaning: Ha). In the posture of a lion, with only the crown of the head facing the sky, from the A (Tibetan: ཨ་, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A) in the heart, a white A (Tibetan: ཨ་དཀར་པོ།, Devanagari: अ धवल् पो, Romanized Sanskrit: a dhaval po, Literal Chinese meaning: A White) arises, shimmering. Hold the mind and meditate on this, and you will come to know the primordial purity, the wisdom nature of indivisible clarity and emptiness. Therefore, in the evening, adopt the posture of a sage; at noon, the posture of an elephant; and in the early morning, the posture of the Dharmakaya. These three postures should be practiced. This is called the meditation of uniting day and night. Thus, meditating on emptiness and clarity day and night is the supreme of all meditations. As it is said in "Clarity of Space": "The meditation of emptiness and clarity, free from dualistic mind, is the supreme of all meditations." As for conduct: Beginners should practice the ten dharmic activities, and yogis should practice the seven modes of conduct as they arise from the great tantra of the Union of Sun and Moon, adapting them to the circumstances. Whatever arises, without hesitation, transform all circumstances into the path. The fruit: By resting on whatever awareness arises, stability is attained. As it is said in the Vajrasattva Heart Mirror: "Know that the qualities of the fruit never revert from the three kayas." Second, the way of liberation is shown in three aspects: the superior attain enlightenment in this life, the intermediate are liberated in the bardo, and the inferior are liberated in the realm of the Svabhavikakaya. First: The Heart Mirror.

From. Perfect complete enlightenment is to become enlightened without remainder of the aggregates. Therefore, all the obscurations, self-arisen wisdom, and grossness of the five aggregates are purified, and the essence becomes enlightened as the Dharmakaya, so the three bodies are inseparable. The nature increases as wisdom, so wisdom is inseparable. Great compassion increases as activity, so great compassion is without interruption. As it says in "Vast Expanse of Clarity": "Essence is empty-clear wisdom body, nature is impartial great compassion, inseparable great bliss, primordial Buddha." And it says: "The samsara of grasping at names is pacified, the wisdom body increases in meaning, that is also called Buddha." As it is said. Second, becoming enlightened in the intermediate state: In the intermediate state of dying, the subtle and gross elements gradually dissolve into earth, water, fire, and wind, so the body and consciousness change places. When the breath dissolves into consciousness, the outer breath ceases, and when the inner breath remains, if the previously familiar instructions become clear, then consciousness dissolves into space, and space dissolves into clear light, and from the great emptiness at the end of the three appearances, one is liberated into the realm of the primordial pure Dharmakaya. If one does not recognize it there, then in the intermediate state of reality, one dissolves into the union of clear light, and from that previous emptiness, the appearance of reality, the wheel of clear light, appears as a mandala of the five families, with the order of faces and hands, and one is liberated by knowing the way to enter through the two key points. Then, dissolving into the wisdom of union, the mandala of the five families appears simultaneously as a fence of five lights, and rays of blue, white, yellow, and red light of one's own color appear as bindus from one's own heart, and one is liberated from the gross and subtle elements and afflictions, thereby recognizing one's own appearance. Then, dissolving into spontaneous wisdom, those appearances of clear light dissolve into the realm, and from the nature of emptiness and clarity like space, all the appearances of samsara and nirvana are clear in an instant, and one cuts off superimposition on one's own appearance, thereby being liberated into the primordial realm. Third, exhaling in the realm of the self-existing Nirmanakaya: If one does not recognize that previous appearance of the clear light of reality, in the instant of disappearing, one is urged by the cause of awakening the habitual tendencies of the future life. With the subtle wind-mind and the four elements as cause and condition, one accomplishes the clear and unobstructed intermediate state body.
