When arising, clearly visualize as before at the tip of the vajra jewel and perform contraction and release. By becoming accustomed to this, various experiences of the convergence of wind and mind will arise. Relying on the slight causes of wind and tummo, one can arise as the deity body of the union path wind-mind, therefore the generation and completion stages have the same basis. Second, the path of means has two aspects: the union of wind and tummo, and learning the actual messenger yoga. The first is: straighten the body posture, like the seven-point posture of Vairocana. Visualize your own outer form as the body of Vajrasattva, the nature of emptiness and light, outwardly clear and inwardly clear, transparent and without impurities, like a crystal ball. In the center, visualize the three channels and four chakras straight as usual. The speech key is to exhale in nine rounds of breath and rest slightly. The mind key is to focus the mind on the three channels below the navel that have become one tube. The wind key is to slightly draw in the lower wind. Fully inhale the gentle and slow upper wind. Again, fully draw up the lower wind and bind the navel chakra immovably. If it is unbearable, then relax. If it is still unbearable, then release it like an arrow, that is, practice like the four unions. By becoming accustomed to this, in the empty tube where the three channels below the navel have become one, visualize the nature of the fire of tummo, like an ashad or thorny acacia, with the thin root pointing downwards, and hold the mind. Once grasped, propelled by the union of wind, an extremely subtle flame arises from it, like a ray of lightning. Imagine that the entire navel chakra is filled and hold the breath. Gradually raise the fire upwards. Finally, it touches the Ham (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) at the crown of the head. From that, a very subtle stream of nectar descends. The fire reverses downwards, and the navel is filled with nectar. Again, visualize the fire blazing greatly, etc., and by holding the mind on the object of focus of burning and dripping, warmth, bliss, and non-conceptual tummo arise in the manner of cause and effect. At the time of burning and dripping, by becoming accustomed to the fundamental object of focus, visualize the three channels as the five chakras, visualize the victorious six realms of samsara with their retinues, and offer them with nectar, this is also a special instruction. Second, learning the actual messenger yoga is: through such a sequence, when special warmth and bliss arise and one is able to hold and spread bindus, then combine with a qualified mudra, upwards.

It should descend, and the four joys of the fruit, which are the foundation, should be spread and stabilized. Third, the way to manifest the wisdom of the fruit of liberation: With such profound methods, the four joys are generated in the manner of arising and reversing, and the mind of the subject is matured into the essence of great bliss. Guided by this, the light of the four emptinesses—emptiness, extreme emptiness, all emptiness, and utter emptiness—is manifested. In particular, the fourth joy, the innate bliss, and the ultimate utter emptiness of the four emptinesses, the indivisible union of bliss and emptiness, first arise in the manner of a symbol. The wisdom of the meaning symbolized by this is like the sky, pure in essence, naturally luminous, and compassionately pervasive without bias. Thus, the state of the great perfection of liberation, the fruit state, will be manifested. These are the divisions briefly stated in accordance with the order of the definitive and complete path. If one relies on faith and practice, the yoga of recitation and above is as before. It is also possible to practice or not practice the mind-holding of subtle points. At the end of practicing the union of the four-limbed wind yoga and the visualization of inner heat, relying on the bliss of the melting elements, one meditates in the natural state of awareness and emptiness, so that the yoga of the three bases, paths, and fruits will be approximately complete. Third, there are three subsequent practices: gathering into the clear light and rising as the body of union, sealing with dedication and aspiration, and concluding with auspicious words. First: Reciting the clear vowels, root mantra, heart mantra, and hundred-syllable mantra to complete the deficiencies of the mantra and stabilize the flow of blessings. The deities that arise from the sphere of reality, dissolve into the sphere of awareness. The great perfection of the union of wisdom and reality, is complete in the indivisibility of samsara and nirvana. Ah ah ah. (Tibetan: ཨ་ཨ་ཨ,Sanskrit Devanagari: अः अः अः,Sanskrit Romanization: ah ah ah,Literal Chinese meaning: Ah ah ah) By this, all the appearances of deities are purified into the sphere of awareness and emptiness and one meditates. In the post-meditation state, one trains in the manner in which all appearances spontaneously arise as the wheel of body and wisdom. Second, the seal of dedication and aspiration: The view is that the nature of reality is pure from the beginning, the meditation is in a state beyond the mind, and all immeasurable virtuous deeds are dedicated for the sake of attaining the three bodies of the fruit. This is the seal of the three wheels free from elaboration. Third, the conclusion with auspicious words: Thinking
