Ka-gyé. Furthermore, visualize all the deities of the outer and inner mantra mandala ocean as objects of devotion, as well as all the Dharma protectors and guardians behind the throne, and especially the treasure protectors and oath-bound ocean assembly of this precious Meaningful Instruction. From the depths of my heart, I take refuge in them, not just verbally. I pray that myself and all other sentient beings in samsara may be liberated from the great ocean of suffering in samsara. With this devout aspiration, recite: Namo! Appearances unarisen within the realm! etc., recite as many times as possible the refuge verses from the practice liturgy. Leave the refuge objects in a state of non-conceptualization. Sixth, the guidance on aspiration, engagement, and the arising of bodhicitta: All the virtuous practices of the three doors are not done for the sake of oneself alone, but are directed towards all sentient beings equal to space. May they have happiness and the cause of happiness, and be free from suffering and the cause of suffering. May they be liberated from samsara and attain Buddhahood. Do not just remain in aspiration, but like the Buddhas of the past, liberate sentient beings from samsara. I too will strive in the virtuous deeds of the three doors in order to liberate those sentient beings who have not yet been liberated from samsara, and to liberate those who have not yet been liberated. In this state of aspiration and engagement bodhicitta, recite: Appearances are the realm of great manifestation! etc., recite hundreds and thousands of bodhicitta verses as much as possible. Seventh, the guidance on the Vajrasattva Hundred Syllable Mantra: If obscurations are not purified, one cannot attain Buddhahood. Among all the methods of purifying obscurations, the recitation and meditation of Vajrasattva is the most profound and special. Therefore, like the preliminaries of all other guidebooks, it is taught here in the seventh step of guidance. The method of visualization is: On a white lotus and moon cushion, visualize yourself as Vajrasattva, with a white body color. The right hand holds a golden vajra, and the left hand holds a silver bell. The legs are in the vajra posture. The hair is tied in a topknot. Adorned with jeweled headdress, earrings, necklace, armlets, bracelets, etc. Wearing a silk upper garment and lower skirt.
