Therefore, those with compassion should extensively benefit all beings. As it is said. Fourth, the practice of extracting the essence of qualities is as follows: The ever-weeping Manjushri (འཇམ་དབྱངས་རྟག་ངུ) that grows in clean and auspicious places such as great sacred sites must be accurately identified. On the day of the lunar mansion Krittika, gather all its roots, stems, leaves, flowers, and fruits, and dry them in the shade. On a Thursday, grind a hundred srangs of well-ground flour and soak it thoroughly with nine portions of wine. Take half of that, add the three fruits, and Terminalia chebula (དབང་ལག). Take another half, add black agarwood, heart-shaped fruit, cardamom, and a little long pepper. Grind these into a fine powder, mix with sugar and honey, and knead into pills. Place them in a beautiful skull cup, cover with silk. Place it in the center of the mandala of practice. Arrange offerings and perform the practice according to the ritual text, practicing together with oneself as the deity. During the recitation (ཛཔ྄), visualize oneself as the deity, and let the recitation precede slightly. Visualize the pills as the palace of the nectar of vows, the assembly of deities in the mandala clearly appearing, and from their bodies, wisdom nectar descends, the essence of wisdom, awareness, and qualities of the mundane and supramundane realms all merging without distinction, becoming the great Vajra essence extraction that accomplishes supreme life and intelligence. Contemplate the inside of the heart being filled with nectar, and continuously perform vase breathing and the wheel practice. The benefits are: This purifies all obscurations, prolongs life, strengthens against aging, clarifies the senses, sharpens the mind, enhances memory, and stabilizes clairvoyance and samadhi. So it is said. The endless other transformative activities here are the luminous nectar tantra.
