From the Mind Accomplishment that Dispels All Obstacles: This is the treatise called "Opening the Door of Wisdom," a clarification of the empowerment and activities of the Lama Speaking Lion. Namo Guru Vadi Simhaya (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: namo guru vādisiṃhāya, Sanskrit Romanization: namo guru vādisiṃhāya, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to the Guru Speaking Lion). Free from the clouds of the two obscurations, the two wisdoms, Its light shines vast like the sky, A deity who destroys the darkness of ignorance of beings, I bow to the Lama Speaking Lion. Completely dispelling the darkness of existence, If you wish to obtain the light of the true path, This is the spring that gathers profound and vast methods, Rely on it as the nectar of your heart. The master of wisdom, the Lama Speaking Lion, and the supreme deity Jampal Gönpo (Mañjuśrī) and consort, the secret of accomplishing them as one mandala, this wondrous and amazing thing, has three meanings: the method of accomplishment, the empowerment, and the combination of activities. First, since only the yoga of root accomplishment, self-generation, and recitation is practiced, there is no need for elaborate preparations. On the morning of an auspicious waxing day, in a secluded place of practice, in front of the arranged supports, arrange a white round torma, nectar, two waters, and some offerings. Prepare the preliminary torma and other necessities. With the seven-line prayer as a preliminary, the practice of refuge and bodhicitta: Namo! I and all sentient beings equal to space, go for refuge to the supreme refuge. Having generated the aspiring and engaging bodhicitta, I will accomplish the state of the Speaking Lion. Recite three times. Bless the obstacle-removing torma as usual. Offer it with the mantra: Hum Hrih! All the demons, obstacles, and spirits of dualistic illusion, enjoy this torma and depart to your own places. The wisdom of non-duality, the nature of the deity, mantra, and dharmakaya, the self-arisen mandala of the boundary. Hum Hum Hum! Drive away with fierce mantras, music, and mustard seeds.
