And, in order to be free from famine, in order to perfect all the dharmas of the path to enlightenment, and in order to definitely realize the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Just as the Uposatha is performed, I, also by the name of so-and-so, from this time onwards, until the sun rises tomorrow, will definitely and correctly take the Uposatha. From today onwards, I will not kill living beings, I will not take the wealth of others, I will not engage in sexual activity, and I will not speak false words. I will abandon alcohol, which is the cause of many faults. I will not sit on high and large beds, and likewise, I will not eat food at the wrong time. I will abandon perfumes, garlands, and ornaments, as well as dancing and singing. Just as the Arhats always do not kill living beings, etc., likewise, I will abandon killing living beings, etc., may I attain unsurpassed enlightenment. May I be liberated from this world, which is full of suffering and turmoil, from the ocean of existence. Recite three times. om amogha śīla, saṃbhāra saṃbhāra, bhara bhara, mahā śuddha sattva, padma vibhūṣita bhuja, dhara dhara, samanta avalokite hūṃ phaṭ svāhā. Recite the seven or twenty-one verses of the Dharani of Pure Morality. The morality of the precepts is without defects, etc., make such aspirations. Thus, regardless of whether or not you take the Uposatha, first recite the recollection of the Three Jewels. Then take refuge: The treasure of all wisdom and qualities, I take refuge in the Lama, Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, I and all sentient beings equal to space, Take refuge until enlightenment. Recite three times. Generate Bodhicitta: Generating Bodhicitta is for the sake of others, In order to attain the state of perfect Buddhahood, The six perfections and other practices, Practice the vast conduct of the Bodhisattvas. Recite three times. Accumulate the Seven Limbs: ཧོ༔ Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the past, present, and future, At the lotus feet of Heruka, As many beings as there are dust particles in the fields, I prostrate with reverence with my body, speech, and mind. Outer, inner, and secret unsurpassed, I offer clouds of Samantabhadra's offerings like an ocean, I confess and purify all sins and obscurations, I rejoice in the practice of the two accumulations, I request you to turn the wheel of Dharma, I request you to not pass into Nirvana but remain for a long time, May the merit Be dedicated to the essence of enlightenment, May the Buddhahood for the benefit of others be quickly accomplished.
