Now, this extremely profound and condensed instruction, complete with the ripening and liberating empowerments, is as follows: The wisdom play of Peaceful Protector Khri lde, the single ornament on the crown of all the learned and accomplished ones of the snowy land, when the venerable Padma Odsal Do-ngak Lingpa was fifteen years old, during the King Month of the Wood Horse year (Tibetan New Year), while engaging in the profound longevity practice, at dawn on the tenth day, due to the sound of the ḍāmaru drum and the permeating fragrance of pleasant scents from the sky, a very clear red light entered the practice substances. In that state, the immortal Mandāravā herself, in the form of the longevity goddess Tsandalī, bestowed the teachings of the father Amitābha, the single Hūṃ deity, and the instructions of the longevity goddess Tsandalī, along with the subsequent empowerment. Finally, while reciting auspicious words, a rain of red flowers fell, and a special experience arose. On the outer and inner practice base, a few red flowers like a summer meadow actually appeared as a pure vision. Immediately, the root of the activity manual was established, practiced, and sealed in secrecy. Later, at the age of fifty-nine, at the beginning of summer in the Earth Tiger year, the nectar of the ripening and liberating instructions was first bestowed as a kindness. To accomplish this profound ripening empowerment, etc., as an introduction, begin by offering a maṇḍala. With strong devotion and longing for the guru and the wisdom ḍākinī inseparable, join your palms with flowers and pray, repeating after me: Only supreme and joyful teacher! Immortal guru Tsandalī! Please consider me with love, Bestow the empowerment of wisdom and longevity! Three times. After praying in this way, for those who are suitable vessels, in order to stabilize and perfect the wisdom of the empowerment's meaning, give the advice to abide by the vajra vows that are difficult to transgress, and give the nectar water. Be sure to remember this. Give the vow water and place the vajra in your heart, If you seek the accomplishment of immortality, Then take faith and compassion as the foundation, Protect the vows of the empowerment's meaning like your life, Strive on the profound path! pañca amṛta udaka ṭha ṭha (五甘露水 ṭha ṭha)! Never transgress the strict vajra vows, thinking in this way, recite this vow: samaya idaṃti narāgana (誓言 此是 地獄)! In the absence of "u," before you reside the assembly of the three roots of longevity deities, along with their retinues filling the sky. From this moment until enlightenment, I and all sentient beings pervading the sky take refuge in you. With steadfast aspiration and practice, we generate the two aspects of precious Bodhicitta. We receive the vows, ascetic practices, and commitments of the unsurpassed Vajrayana, and strive to uphold them. With this intention, repeat after me: Wisdom Dakini, the supreme refuge! For the benefit of beings, generate the aspiring and engaging Bodhicitta! The secret mantra uniting body, speech, and mind! May we always uphold the vows and commitments! Repeat three times. Then, to establish the basis for empowerment, to invoke the wisdom being, focus single-pointedly on these key points of restraining the three doors. All phenomena are without inherent existence, from the state of luminous emptiness. In the place where you are, on top of a red lotus and the sun and moon discs, visualize the essence of awareness, the red, blazing seed syllable HRIH (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城體：ह्रीः，梵文羅馬擬音：hrīḥ，漢語字面意思：啥). It completely transforms, and in an instant, you become the immortal wisdom dakini Padma Chandali, red and radiant, gleaming with the brilliance of a ruby. With three eyes, wrathful yet smiling, with an expression of infatuation, hair flowing freely. Breasts full, secret lotus blooming. A five-colored silk diadem fluttering, wearing an upper garment and lower skirt. Adorned with garlands of bones, jewels, and flowers. The right hand raises an iron hook, and the left hand holds a fine vase of immortal life filled with nectar. With the right leg bent and the left leg extended in a dancing posture, standing proudly in a space blazing with various rays of light. On the crown of the head is the lineage lord Amitabha, in the form of a Nirmanakaya. In the heart is the wisdom hero Amitayus, in the Sambhogakaya form. In the eyes are the Form Vajra Mothers, in the ears are the Sound Vajra Mothers, in the nose are the Scent Vajra Mothers, on the tongue are the Taste Vajra Mothers, in the secret place are the Touch Vajra Mothers, and in the heart are the Dharma Vajra Mothers, all red. The right hands hold iron hooks, and the left hands emanate clouds of offerings of the six desires, with the same attire as the main deity. On the four limbs are red Padma Dhatu Rich Mothers, with the attire of wrathful mothers, holding curved knives and skull cups.
