Certainly! Cherish it and keep it in mind. Whatever great signs may occur, release life and bind life to the substitute. Whatever is unfavorable to someone, redeem even the life that knows the signs of death. Repair the roads and clear away thorns. Recite Amitayus and plant the life stake. If enemies arise, suppress the enemy's evil spirits. If wealth is unfavorable, attract prosperity. If it is unfavorable to the public, then perform longevity practices and recite the hundred and four turn-back dispelling scriptures. If it is unfavorable to the evil spirits, strike the demon king. If evil spirits arise, suppress the small evil spirits. If people arise, perform subjugation rituals. When the sun and moon are eclipsed, destroy the life substitute. Strive to confess and make amends. Scatter a hundred thousand Tsa-tsa waters. This is the auspicious connection for healing bad omens. It is extremely important to strive for this. When practicing the deathless attainment, the good signs are as follows: When the vase emits light, the water overflows. The life substitute is soft and without defects. The life fruits gather and do not move. The butter lamp is clear and the butter increases. The mandala is bright and has an oily color. Experience and realization are endowed with wisdom. A good fragrance emanates and a pleasant sound arises. A sound arises in the sky, and rainbows of light encircle. When these good signs appear, they are signs of the accumulation of life's accomplishments. When this empowerment is obtained, all calamities and obstacles are eliminated. Long life, health, and perfection are obtained. For the sake of having glory and wealth, strive diligently for this. Eliminate the causes of untimely death, and you will gain mastery over the life of a vidyadhara. This clear mirror of divination, I, Padmasambhava, have gathered the essence of all life lineages and composed it for the benefit of future sentient beings. The life support of the soul is the amulet, the life support of radiance is the five-colored silk, the life support of life is the arrow. After the practice is completed, they are absorbed into myself, and I meditate on myself as Amitayus. Ja Hum Bam Hoh, with great elaboration. Repeatedly perform the summoning and abiding of the soul and life. Then, say these words: Hrih! From the eastern direction of the mandala of life, the soul and the life-summoning mother, the white horse-faced mother holds an iron hook, and summons the soul and life from the hand of the Gandharva. Relying on this turquoise as a support, may the precious life substance be absorbed into the person, and may the person and life never be separated. Vajra Ayuh Rṇṛi Jaḥ Hūṃ! May all the gods and spirits of appearance and existence not have the opportunity to devour and roam. This is the life substance that pacifies obstacles and hindrances, this is the life substance that averts untimely death, this is the life substance that subdues evil spirits and elementals, this is the life substance that increases life and wealth, this is the life substance that accomplishes auspiciousness and well-being.
