I, Padma Dudul, perform the fire puja of the Glorious Mountain Retreat Mother in this way. Tsogyal, you record it in writing and bury it as a treasure. In the future, there will be immeasurable benefit to beings. Take earth from the east and make a mud ball the length of an arrow. Then write according to the sadhana text. On white sandalwood and leafy trees, build a peaceful, round fireplace. Prepare all peaceful fire offerings as in the common ritual. Generate the fire god as the lama. In the belly of the fire god, generate the noble mother. Perform the invocation, offering, and praise according to the text. Offer the burnt offerings. Entrust the activity of pacifying disease, demons, sins, and obscurations. Change the root mantra and the ending as desired. Confess misdeeds. Complete any deficiencies with the Hundred Syllable Mantra. Invite the wisdom being to descend. Absorb the samaya being into yourself. Make aspirations and speak auspicious words. By doing this, the qualities can pacify disease.

The color is green, radiating light, offering to the noble ones. Gathering back, purifying the karmic obscurations of all sentient beings. Instantaneous recollection-completion, just the radiance of awareness itself. Like a fish leaping from the water, Generating appearance-emptiness like a water moon and a rainbow. If you meditate with attachment, you will stray into the realm of Yama and Rakshasas. Free from attachment, like a water moon and a rainbow. Meditating on just the radiance of awareness is the command of Guru Padmasambhava. I have recorded the unerring practice in writing. Fortunate and destined sons, practice in this way. Visualize yourself clearly as a tree in a charnel ground. At your heart, on top of a sun that is unborn, The unobstructed awareness, the letter Paṃ, is placed. From the green garland of mantras of your own essence, Red rays of light swirl like sparks. Strike the heart of the visualized deity in front, who is like yourself. From the heart of the deity in front, stimulate the continuum of vows, From the mantra in the deity's heart, light radiates. Offering to the Buddhas of all directions and times. The blessings and power of the Buddhas, without exception, Rays of light gather back and dissolve into the deity in front. When inhaling, the rays of light gather back and dissolve into yourself. When exhaling, radiate outwards, stimulating the heart continuum of the deity in front.
