May all inner fears and sufferings be pacified, may the qualities of the path greatly increase, and may the attainment of enlightenment be swift. As it is said, this profound Dharma, which is full of meaning, was given by Padmasambhava, the one father who protects the Tibetan people and the embodiment of all Buddhas, to Lhasé Rolpa Yeshe Tsal, with great compassion for the beings of this degenerate age who are afflicted by suffering, and was hidden in Lhari Rolpo Drak. Later, the reincarnation of Lhasé himself, the treasure revealer Lhatsun Ngönmo, unearthed it and performed various activities for the benefit of beings. Later, the reincarnation of that treasure, the great treasure revealer Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa, extracted the yellow scroll as a secret treasure from the Yangdzong of Chimo Drak. It was offered to Padma Ösel Do-ngak Lingpa, the one ornament on the crown of the treasure revealer Druptop Gyatso. When the time for taming arrived, the wisdom dakini Chandika explained the signs in detail and, relying on the blessings, translated and established it perfectly. From the seven sections of the Pacification Practice, the first is the empowerment of the Wisdom Queen Buddha Locana, which pacifies all kinds of diseases arising from the power of the affliction of ignorance. Begin by offering a mandala, etc., as an introduction. With palms joined, holding flowers, pray with faith and reverence, and repeat after me: Supreme Lama of Secret Mantra, Wisdom Goddess, consider me, Bless me with the blessings of body, speech, and mind, Please bestow the sacred empowerment. In order to purify the mindstream, in front of the guru and the Wisdom Queen visualized in front, surrounded by the ocean of refuge, with the intention to take refuge until reaching the essence of enlightenment, repeat after me: Namo. Thus, in the great ocean of samsara, which has been troubled by suffering since beginningless time, may all sentient beings, mothers and fathers, be placed in the state of eternal bliss of Buddhahood. Repeat three times. If you do not have the vows of the tantra, you are not suitable as a vessel for empowerment. Follow all the teachings of the Sugata and his retinue, and practice the ocean of Bodhisattva conduct to the best of your ability. With the strong intention of firmly holding the three vows, recite after this: Om! Sugata, what are you like? May I become just like that! Conduct is wonderful and inconceivable, I will practice for the benefit of beings! Supreme Bodhicitta and, the mudras of body, speech, and mind, I will not abandon even for my life, Vajra King, please bless! In this evil age of the end times, I will accomplish the difficult deeds of the Buddha! Difficult Bodhisattva conduct, I will practice! In this Vajra Yoga mandala, may our wishes all be fulfilled! Repeat three times. Then, in order to descend the wisdom being, each of you should properly bind the key points of the three doors, and clearly visualize this object of focus with one-pointedness. Ah! Emptiness and great compassion. Slowly recite each of your own realizations. Thus, each of you should visualize the heart of the wisdom goddess marked with the three syllables in the three places, and from the heart of the guru and the deities of the mandala, rays of light radiate filling the expanse of space. All the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas abiding throughout space, especially the wisdom goddess Buddha Eye Mother, etc., are individually requested, urging the vows. All of these are also visualized as the same wisdom mudra as you have practiced, descending like a great rain, merging into each, and visualizing being blessed inseparably. Mix the scent of incense and the sound of musical instruments. Urge with vocal sounds, recite the invocation verses and mantras as in the ritual text, and descend the blessings. Thus, visualize that the stream of blessings of descending the wisdom being is completely abiding on the three doors. Place a flower or a crossed vajra on the head and recite: Tiṣṭha Vajra (Tibetan: ཏིཥྛ་བཛྲ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: तिष्ठ वज्र, Sanskrit Romanization: tiṣṭha vajra, Chinese literal meaning: Stay Vajra).
