All unease is gathered into red and black rays. Purified by the Samadhi of white Prajnaparamita, And the blazing light of mantra. One's own body and mind are at ease, and, All the collections of virtue free from attachment, Are emanated as the light of divine mantra nectar, Absorbed into all sentient beings, Thinking that all the suffering arising from the cause and effect of attachment is pacified. Likewise, for all sentient beings, All the hosts of fears arising from the cause and effect of wrong views, Such as the battles of lions and elephants, Are gathered into dark purple light. Purified by the Samadhi of the noble Tara, And the blazing light of mantra. One's own fearlessness and ease, and, All the collections of virtue free from wrong views, Are emanated as the light of divine mantra nectar, Absorbed into all sentient beings, Thinking that one is freed from the hosts of fears arising from the cause and effect of wrong views. Likewise, for all sentient beings, All the suffering of untimely death arising from the cause and effect of doubt, Are gathered into smoky light. Purified by the Samadhi of the Great Peacock King, And the blazing light of mantra. One's own ease of living, and, All the collections of virtue free from doubt, Are emanated as the light of divine mantra nectar, Absorbed into all sentient beings, Arising from the cause and effect of doubt, Thinking that all untimely death is pacified. Thus, all of these, In order to be easily accustomed to at first, Meditate on one's own root guru. Then, friends and other loved ones, And enemies, obstructing spirits, and hindrances that are difficult to subdue, Gradually, towards all sentient beings pervading space, Impartially spread widely. Especially, for protecting oneself, And for the helpless and destitute who appear before you, Apply and meditate, and great benefit will be accomplished. The inharmonious and contrary conditions of oneself and others are pacified, And transformed into unsurpassed benefit and happiness. The Samadhi without characteristics, Meditating on that very reality itself, One's own and others' illnesses, harmful spirits, and injuries, And all fears and sufferings, Arise from past and present actions. Actions arise from afflictions, Afflictions are dependent on other-powered conceptual thoughts. If one seeks the flaw of the mind of conceptual thought, By abiding equally in unborn nature, Then even the eighty thousand heaps of thoughts, Will naturally be liberated, What need is there to mention mere contrary conditions? Therefore, a yogi who knows mantra, By focusing the mind on the profound meaning, Completely abandoning all elaborations, With diligence

Oh, meditate on that very reality! Straighten the body posture and expel the impure air. Keep mindfulness present, and be sure to generate renunciation and bodhicitta. Pray intensely to the lama, blend your mind with his and enter into equipoise. In this way, all the adverse conditions, harms, and sufferings of all the worlds arise from clinging to self. From self, one sees others as separate. From that, afflictions such as attachment arise, and by being instigated, one accumulates non-virtuous actions. As a result, suffering ripens as truth. In the realms of the six classes of beings, one experiences various bodies, possessions, fears, and sufferings, like a dream that is not real. Thus, for all beings who are deluded, generate compassion that is without object. The essence of compassion dawns as emptiness. Each emptiness is self-knowing and self-aware. Enter into the womb of that very reality. In short, all the knots of clinging to subject and object that beings hold are merely imputed in dependence on the collection of their respective interdependent relationships. It is a delightful play of mind. The nature of mind is without birth or cessation, without location, without object, without coming or going. From the beginning, it is empty in its own nature, and the stream of clarity and awareness is uninterrupted. That too is beyond speech, thought, and expression. By knowing it innately without contrivance, self-knowing and self-aware without fabrication or corruption, grasp the life force of the unchanging sky. Like the natural flow of a river, when you find the confidence of the view of equipoise, appearance and mind become one taste in the state of clear light. All fears and sufferings, thoughts, are released in their own place like a snake's knot. Great bliss wisdom dawns from within. Compassion to tame beings is uninterrupted. The delusion of subject and object is completely pacified, and the activity of meaning will be accomplished. This is the eleventh of the profound yoga stages of the instructions of the Seven Pacifications. Samaya. Seal, seal. The meaning of the many profound tantras that come from the lineage of lamas, this supreme instruction of the Seven Pacifications, this has been explained very clearly. I, Padmasambhava, have given this instruction for the sake of the gathering of worthy vessels now and for the benefit of beings in the future. Do not forget it; practice it! May all temporary and ultimate, outer and inner, fears and sufferings be pacified, may the qualities of the path increase, and may you quickly attain the state of enlightenment. Samaya. Seal, seal, seal! The Indian abbot Padmasambhava and the Lhasan translator Rolpa Yeshe Tsal translated it at Chimphu Dzariwa.
